A vote in the House of Commons, voted down the lowering of corporate taxes and today Harper says he doesn't care what happen in the Commons he going to ignore it ... again. This isn't the time time he has lost on a vote and said he would ignored the results. I watched some of the debate on this and it was pointed out that the Harper government has cut 60 Bil from corporate taxes. I think Harper has cut enough for those companies in Alberta, the oil and gas and for the banks that Canadians pay in users fees. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/canada/breakingnews/harper-scorns-commons-call-to-reverse-corporate-tax-cuts-opposition-wins-vote-115678419.html?path=/canada/breakingnews&id=115678419&viewAllComments=y

Come on you guys. The corporate taxes are low enough. There are people hurting from lost jobs, where's these jobs the Tories keep harping about these companies would create? 60 Bil in cuts, do you see lower fees in the banks or at the gas pumps?

Those tax rates are already law, and the Liberals voted for them to be so. It's done.

As already stated, what the Liberals and NDP voted for this week was to RAISE taxes. It was a motion they knew in advance that the Conservatives would ignore, because any sensible government would.

What the Liberals and NDP have really done is write the next campaign ads for the Conservatives: a vote for Ignatieff is a vote for higher taxes.
