And of course, the problem with the Muslims is that way too many of them continue to try to live up to the nastier tenets of their old book. Even if it is disconcerting to some, not sure what anyone can do about it. Write laws against naming your kid Mohammed? Or laws preventing muslims from having more babies? He was never before a human rights tribunal. The Islamic Congress made a complaint, but the complaint was dismissed. And considering conservatives make derogatory comments about muslims every day, I would say Maher is actually drawing more heat than a conservative would. You're only aware of it because he's a liberal. Once again, the conservative victim isn't really one at all. But it must feel nice and self-righteous to be seen as one.
