maplesyrup Posted June 9, 2004 Author Report Posted June 9, 2004 Oh, here it is. Former Tories throw support behind McLellan Twelve prominent former Progressive Conservatives have thrown their support behind Liberal Anne McLellan. The group, who praised McLellan's work on justice and social issues, is composed of party organizers and four former cabinet ministers in the Alberta cabinet including Dennis Anderson, Dave King, Horst Schmid and John Oldring. "We have taken this unprecedented step because it is clear that Anne McLellan has been an especially strong and effective voice for Alberta," Anderson said in a release. Alliance Fanatic Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 All of those guys were in the Getty cabinet. Pretty well all former Tory MLA's who helped run up a huge debt for Alberta, and did'nt really accomplish much.
