Yes.

Are you sure about the storage of "pistols"?

What kind of firearms you own and which club you're member of?

I used to own 2 rifles, a shotgun and a target pistol. I was a memeber of the Black Watch shooting club...

So try again...

1) So you say in Canada one can CARRY a handgun legally? Yes or No?

You stay by your claim restricted items are "military firearms, military ammunition, some types of ammunition such as hollow point and other expanding bullets"?

What did you hunt big game with anyway?

B - Guns requiring permit

Includes semi automatic handguns, single shot and semi automatic center fire rifles and semi automatic military style rifles.

WRONG. All firearms require permit in Canada. It's called PAL.

C - Guns requiring registration

Includes single shot or bolt action, rimfire rifles and small caliber rifles.

Theoretically all, but mandatory just handguns, as the long guns are still under amnesty (the last 15 years, because of civil disobedience).

Yes, one can carry a handgun

WRONG. All firearms require permit in Canada. It's called PAL.

Incorrect. A PAL is not a firearm permit. It is a posseion and acquisition permit. It replaced the FAC which was the same thing.

Yes, one can carry a handgun

ahhh, Saipan... as a new MLW member you have not yet been acquainted with the ways of the Dancer - where you never get anything complete and up-front... where Dancer mistakes his vagaries for the subtleties of self-pleasuring - and who knows what he does with his cats!

carrying a concealed weapon

The practice of CCW is technically legal in many jurisdictions; however, in practice, it is often not permitted through the refusal to issue permits. This is the legal situation for Canadians, where an Authorization to Carry (ATC) exists, but the Provincial Chief Firearm Officers have agreed not to issue such licenses. Concealment of the firearm is only permitted if specifically stipulated in the terms of the ATC (thus this would then be a specific class of ATC, specifically an ATC-3 or type 3) and is in practice nearly impossible to obtain.

Yes or no answers are too nuanced for Waldo.

No!

There's nothing nuanced about your claim that, legally, one can carry a handgun in Canada... other than accepted understanding that CCW permits are extremely difficult to secure - exceedingly rare... notwithstanding the apparent ease with which you obtained your CCW permit to protect you from your cats.

Yes?

First off Waldo, I did not make the claim. I was asked a yes or no question. Try and find in this thread where I said anything of the sort.

The answer is yes, one in Canada can carry a hand gun (Hello Norm Gardiner?)

"Carry" where?

Like in Czech Republic?

Like the Czech republic that has a higher murder and firearm murder rate than Canada?

You already know I am sure that someone who can prove they need to carry a gun, can. So why beat this dead horse?

Who does? Where?

Have you figure out yet what ammo were you using for big game.

Still believe you can't legally use military ammo?
