Another hilarious attempt by the MSNBC to mug a spokesman for the Tea Party ...

It's as if Keith Olberman has become the pace-setter for announcers ... when it comes to wretched excess, Olberman is the most wretched, but Ratigan is hot on his tail.

We Canadians can look at this and laugh, because none of us support either side ... and we can see who's being stifled, etc But how much better are our media, for all the patina of professionalism they take on?

Have you ever watched Fox news? They are all the same.

I don't have cable, but no channel is as excessive in its partisanship, top to bottom, as MSNBC. You probably don't see it because you share their hysteria. More objective folks can see that people like Cavuto, or Joe Scarbough, are ten times the professional that Olberman is. O'Reilly and Hannirty are restrained compared to these guys.

MSNBC is the home of news hysteria. They ought to call it PMS-MSNBC.

Wow, that was brutal!

Did the host actually ask his guest if he accepts racists and nazis in the Tea Party?

Did the host then direct the producer to actually cut off his mic?

Did the host then complain about the guest using his show to spread propaganda, when the guest didn't even get time to answer the question?

Did the host then complain about what's wrong with the dialogue in the coutnry?

That's about as unprofessional a job as I've seen in quite a while. Which is a shame, because Dylan Ratigan is usually a fairly professional guy.

I wonder if the guest was ever going to answer yes or no instead of playing gotcha with the host.

I like to which billionaire is supporting these groups that suddenly appear during and after an election. Why don't they spend their money on a third party, so people can say bye to the Dems and the Rep. that hasn't done much for their country, except, get them into a wars and run up their debt!

Third parties don't work. You need to affect change on one of the existing parties, as difficult as that might be. But they're having a significant influence on the Republicans in office, and especially the new candidates running for the mid-terms. Mostly all related to fiscal conservative policies. Not the pseudo-fiscal conservatives that operated like Dems for the past several years when they were in power.

FOX has figured out that they need to torpedo this Tea Party Frankenstein as soon as possible. They sent their lapdog Glenn Beck (who openly lies for money) to shoot down Debra Medina, who was challenging the Republicans in Texas.

The Tea Party people are anti-government freaks who will try to turn the Republicans into secessionists at a state level. I don't think Rupert Murdoch will be promoting them much when he starts hearing that they will refuse to honour things like NAFTA...

Even more ... this is from a month or so ago, but still, this bit of blather shows it wasn't a solitary event. This time, the interviewee gets a few licks in ... like "... Now you're answering your own question, maybe you should be your own guest ..."

Do you suppose Ratigan thinks this is hard-nosed journalism?

Wow... who is this guy? Is he new to the MSNBC line-up? I recently subscribed to the "news bundle" with Rogers so that I can now get Fox, a side "benefit" is that I also get MSNBC (which has some fantastic business specials and shows like Mad Money!). This guy is even more out there than Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity (two high-school graduates!). This is some of the most outrageous "journalism" I've ever seen.
