jbg Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 (edited) The article below is self-explanatory. This is Palestinian self-determination in action. The protagonist is a "doctor as well as a cleric". I wonder which profession's ethics he follows. An example to behold. Abdul-Latif Moussa blows himself up in the Gaza Strip yesterday after Hamas mosque raid(link) From The Sunday Times August 16, 2009 Uzi Mahnaimi in Tel Aviv A RADICAL Islamic cleric blew himself up in the Gaza Strip yesterday after a shootout with security forces in which 28 people were killed and 150 injured. Abdul-Latif Moussa was the head of a group inspired by Al-Qaeda in the southern town of Rafah, near the Egyptian border. He defied Hamas, the Islamic party that has controlled Gaza since it seized power in 2007, during a sermon at Friday prayers by declaring Rafah an “Islamic emirate” where even stricter theocratic rule would apply. This was a direct challenge to the authority of Hamas, which ordered the mosque to be stormed. Residents of the town, which is still sealed off, described a night of terrifying violence. Flares lit up the night sky as Hamas machinegun fire and rocket-propelled grenades slammed into the mosque. Moussa, a doctor as well as a cleric, died after a negotiator was sent at dawn yesterday to agree terms of surrender. Moussa was wearing a suicide vest and blew up both himself and the mediator, according to witnesses. Among the dead were three children and six Hamas security men. DogOnPorch Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 True. By the way you were right the first time. I was kidding. No worries...I know we're on the same page re: yea olde "Palestinians". But you have to admire their propaganda that took what amounted to an Islamic version of National Socialism and turned it into the victims of the Jewish 'genocide'. Ben Gurion would be shaking his head in amazement. Hooray for Pallywood. Quote Nothing cracks a turtle like Leon Uris.

dub Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Dub, can't you take "yes" for an answer? I'm busy here condemning the Zionist Entity. no. seriously. did you forget? 900 civilians weren't just killed by israel? were the israeli soldiers singing kumbaya when they were shooting women and children waving white flags while coming out of a house that was being bombed by israeli planes? Israeli soldiers killed unarmed civilians carrying white flags in Gaza, says reportIsraeli soldiers shot dead 11 unarmed Palestinian civilians carrying white flags during Israel's offensive in Gaza earlier this year, according to a report from Human Rights Watch, which said Israel had failed to investigate the killings adequately. The deaths – including those of five women and four children – took place in seven separate incidents across Gaza in areas controlled by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF), where there was no fighting and no Palestinian fighters were nearby. dub Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 any kumbaya here? In one case, the civilians were walking in a group on a street. In another, they were driving slowly on tractors and in cars, trying to leave the area with the wounded, according to the report."On the way we saw tanks and soldiers," said Omar Abu Halima, 18. "When we saw them [the Israeli soldiers] they told us to stop. After we stopped they fired at us. They killed my cousin Mattar. My cousin Muhammad was wounded and later died." Quote
dub Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 here? In another case – also in al-Atatra – two women holding white flags stepped out of a house that the IDF was demolishing to tell the soldiers that civilians were inside. "We opened the door and a sniper fired at us from a house," said Zakiya al-Qanu, 55. "Ibtisam was hit and I turned to go back inside and another bullet grazed my back. Ibtisam died in the doorway." jbg Posted September 8, 2009 Author Report Posted September 8, 2009 (edited) Even more peace, brotherhood and freedom; these people are 1derful. (link), excerpts below. Thirty Palestinians killed. Women and children caught in the crossfire. Missiles fired at a Mosque. Muslim prisoners 'executed' in cold blood. A massacre. Media restrictions. A familiar tale? Indeed. International outrage and demonstrations in the streets of London? Nope. And why might that be? Why it's simple. The Palestinians were were killed by Palestinians and, it would appear from the lack of reaction that in those circumstances their lives are cheap, but when they are killed by Israelis it is an outrage. ************ And where is the outrage about these murders. The marches, the petitions, the calls for a boycott, the conspiracy theory of a war against Muslims, ad infinitum? I hear just the wind blowing across the freshly dug graves. Because unless the Israelis kill them, people don't care. Edited September 8, 2009 by jbg Quote Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone." It seems the Middle-East religions honour one to commit suicide and so the whole religion things so confusing. Quote
