jbg Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 .All kidding aside, U.S. businesses have to find better ways to care for their customers. Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? fellowtraveller Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 Just flew United in and out of Chicago, I'd have to say their O'Hare checkin procedure was the worst I've ever had. Useless software, confusing process, and extremely surly and unhelpful staff -when you managed to find anybody. And of course each checked bag costs $20 one way....... 3 1/2 hour flight, one drink offered and not even a cookie with it.... Never again. Quote The government should do something.

I had bought a nice hard travel case and packed the thing myself properly. I took it as carry on (items are small enough) and both Ottawa and Vancouver were not gentle with the equipment, they simply did not give a damn. I told them, BE CAREFUL, and once it ran through the scanner, I told them to leave it alone and I will pack it back up the right way. I held up many others while I carefully put all my items back in the way I had it originally planned. I was not letting this bag out of my sight. I invested good money in this equipment and I am not about to let a baggage checker the chance to break it. But their care faces showed me the indifference. Heartless idiots. My carrier was Westjet.
