Visionseeker Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 It's been rough for many of you lately, as it has been for us above the 49th. But there are always reasons to celebrate for the citizens of the "second" best country in the world. So get to work and make this weekend one for the ages. Quote
sharkman Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 American cousins on my wife's side had come up from Arizona to Washington state for a holiday and business, and they crossed the border to stay overnight with us. I was struck with how similar in culture they were, and reminded why I think so much of the United States. I've brushed shoulders with more than a few Americans over the years, and there is something good and decent about them that makes their country good and decent. Happy Independence day. Quote
Sir Bandelot Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 Happy 4th of July. I heard there were some fireworks, over in North Korea for you today... Quote

capricorn Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 Happy Independence Day to our American friends and neighbours. I can't think of any other country I'd rather have next door. Have a fun and safe 4th of July. Quote "We always want the best man to win an election. Unfortunately, he never runs." Will Rogers
