But there are always reasons to celebrate for the citizens of the "second" best country in the world. So get to work and make this weekend one for the ages. sharkman Posted July 4, 2009 Report Share Posted July 4, 2009 American cousins on my wife's side had come up from Arizona to Washington state for a holiday and business, and they crossed the border to stay overnight with us. I was struck with how similar in culture they were, and reminded why I think so much of the United States. I've brushed shoulders with more than a few Americans over the years, and there is something good and decent about them that makes their country good and decent. Happy Independence day.
