jdobbin Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 It is a thread on Ignatieff. It is a thread on whatever we want to talk about. Is this not a democracy? Why are you oppressing me? Quote

Oleg Bach Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 You are oppressing me now with your dyslexia. Okay - so I keep losing he house keys lately - I have seniour moments because my shorts have poor pockets - my life has gotten to be to complex to manage - with the seasonal change and all - sometime the west is the east and the east is the west in my world - holy moly ---------------I might just be transending into some weird thing....so what does dyslexia mean ------------------------------------------ me tell you can? benny Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Not going to happen - Harper and Ignatieff - will bond and you will see a one party system - they have no choice. Layton will be the only opposing party - and it should work out just fine - seeing that there really are no consevatives or real liberals left - a centralist moderate party is forming - and moderation is the key to good management. But politics is more about emancipation than about management. Quote
Moonbox Posted June 18, 2009 Author Report Posted June 18, 2009 But politics is more about emancipation than about management. No it's not. It's mostly about management...of a lot of things. Moonbox Posted June 18, 2009 Author Report Posted June 18, 2009 (Impression) management is obviously a defense mechanism against a possible explosive emancipation. What does that even mean? Politics is definetly about impression management first and then managament later. Politics existed in the time of Ancient Egypt. It has always existed, and more often than not had NOTHING to do with freedom. benny Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 What does that even mean? Just recall the French "no vote" at the referendum on the European Union Constitution. The expert bureaucrats were so fearful of this people's decision that they entrenched themselves still more inside a management-view of the World. Something must give! Quote

Politics in this nation is merely the manipulation of public opinion and public perception. It is a game of emotional and intellectual optics. Quote
