scribblet Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 Except that the PMO is 100% taxpayer's money used for consultants that could ably be managed by the Embassy. And you know that how? hmmm isn't it that $1.75 or whatever per vote taxpayer's money... Quote Hey Ho - Ontario Liberals Have to Go - Fight Wynne - save our province
Smallc Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 And you know that how? hmmm isn't it that $1.75 or whatever per vote taxpayer's money... Nice attempt at deflection. Quote
jdobbin Posted April 19, 2009 Author Report Posted April 19, 2009 And you know that how? That the PMO is part of the government? Well, I know it is because it is. Are you saying it is a wing of the Tory party? hmmm isn't it that $1.75 or whatever per vote taxpayer's money... Are you saying that it is 100% taxpayer money that supports the Liberals? Quote
Martin Chriton Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 As far as what Harper will do when he is no longer leader, there are a few wondering when that will happen not if. So what you're saying is that one day Harper will no longer be leader of the CPC. Wow, genius prediction. I'm going to make one of my own: Iggy will quit the leadership of the LPC (one day). Now what do I win? --- As for those pondering whether this is all a ploy for Harper to get a job w/ the US media. How stupid are you people if you are you're serious about that? Having the citizens of your largest trading partner know more about you is a win win. This is one of the most innovative things I've seen Harper do. Quote

Harper is facing increasing restiveness amongst his own caucus and members. Whatever the outcome of the next election, he will face a challenge if he wishes to stay on. I'm not even convinced that yet that he will go all the way to the next election if it doesn't happen before fall/ As for those pondering whether this is all a ploy for Harper to get a job w/ the US media. And you think he couldn't do this without his own embassy staff? Quote
