Oleg Bach
I heard Mr. Galloway speak briefly on radio today ...and I heard people comment that he is a terrorist because he has assisted the human beings in dire straights in Palistine. Seperating the Hamas factor from the average suffering and poverty stricken Palistinian...You might ask yourself what a terrorist actually is? Is it a person or group that may want something from you? Perhaps money or food..or a homeland? Is it a person that effects the economy by making comments that may disrupt the confidence in the stock exchange causing the market to plumet? I firmly believe that terrorism is all about money - about fair play..about the fight for human dignity ---but mostly about CASH and the creature comforts that money provides - and all this rhetorical nonsense about religion - politics or extreme idealogy is just a crock of crap! Randy Nicholas
You might ask yourself what a terrorist actually is? Well, actually, no. you got me. i never did. I just always assumed that a terrorist was a person who used extreme violence for personal reasons, religious or otherwise. Again, I think terrorist defines a person who wants you dead, who wants you to suffer. If it was just about cash or about land, or about food, we could easily solve the 'terrorist' problem. I believe all of these things contribute to 'terrorism' but certainly religion is a large factor. The bin laden's et al. use religion as a tool to control their armies and make them fearless. Nobody blows themselves up for money, do they?
eyeball
What a terrorist is, is very relative. I think its appropriate to define what a terrorist is from the perspective of the person being terrified. Its like abuse, if it feels like its happening, it is. Where I live, the RCMP say that when someone buys pot that makes them part of a terrorist network. I feel the same way about people who ship arms to the House of Saud. Nope, I'm opposed to providing weapons and military aid to dictators who terrorize their own people. I take you support this?

eyeball
You think the house of saud terrorizes their own people? I know they do. The onbly terror in SA comes from Al Qaeda... No, this is what's known as blowback, which is no more or less terrifying, but its an effect of SA oppression not a cause.
