August1991 Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 Sorry if this topic exists elsewhere and this thread is a duplicate. I started a thread entitled "Harper Derangement Syndrome" with a link to a humourous Youtube video. The thread seems to have now disappeared from MLW. Why? The video is still available on so there is no apparent issue of copyright. What happened? Quote
Charles Anthony Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 It was deleted because it violated an oft-missed rule the rules: POSTING CONTENTAll posts must contain some aspect of an argument or attempt to stimulate discussion. Simply posting a URL to an outside source or posting statements that are only one or two sentences long will not be tolerated and the post will be deleted. All it needed was a few sentences in the Opening Post to direct the thread. The reasoning is because without a complete Opening Post, there is really no way to judge whether the thread stays on-topic. Incidentally, the thread immediately delved into a non-political discussion. Quote We do not have time for a meeting of the flat earth society. << Où sont mes amis ? Ils sont ici, ils sont ici... >>

Mr.Canada Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 (edited) I made a thread about the Canadian auto bailout and it was deleted. The exsisting thread talks about the USA sector only. Im not sure why it was deleted but ok. Prhaps we could have a section for current events and news or something.
