Smallc Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 I didn't say immirants don't ever vote Tory. Howerever, every pundit in the land has stated that, in general, immigrants continue to vote Liberal. The big cities are where immigrants are located in the greatest numbers. I don't think it's a coincidence that the big cities remain bastions of Liberal support. But you seem to somehow suggest they they are wrong to do so and that if they were real Canadians they wouldn't. Isn't that really what your getting at? Quote

I don't think it's a coincidence that the big cities remain bastions of Liberal support. Quite a few high immigrant ridings around Toronto almost had the Tories squeek in. Ridings like mine and Bob Rae's where there are low immigrant numbers went Liberal in landslides as well, Trinity Spadina voted NDP. CrazeeEddie Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 Between areas with high immigrant numbers and those without, you mean. Forgive me, I missed what tribe/ first nation you represent again? Quote Nobody actually wants equality. It's just a word thrown around to achieve one's own superiority.

Of course, I think we have differing views of immigrants. I know, I myself am the descendant of immigrants. Leave it again to the party who decries 'elitist liberals' to explain to us what is, and isn't Canadian.... Quote Nobody actually wants equality.
