randyjohnson Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 (edited) John McCain plans to give the oil companies a huge tax break. He plans to give other rich people tax breaks too. Barack Obama plans to give tax breaks to the poor. The poor need the tax breaks. Not the rich. Sarah Palin unlawfully fired a man because he refused to fire her ex brother-in-law as a state trooper. She abused her power and that's not a good quality for a potential Vice President to have. Many people have lost their jobs because of this recession. If McCain wins, the recession will most likely continue and many more people will lose their jobs. You may or may not agree that McCain isn't a good choice. If you disagree and later have to go to the unemployment office, you will agree. Obama wants to end the war. McCain wants to continue the war. Do you want this war to drag on for the next four to eight years? No, I don't believe that you do. Do you want to turn on your television and hear about more of our soldiers dying? No, you don't. A vote for McCain is a vote to continue the war and the recession. Edited October 12, 2008 by randyjohnson Quote

Barack Obama plans to give tax breaks to the poor. The poor need the tax breaks. Not the rich. Barack Obama has already voted to raise "poor people's" taxes. I never got a job from a poor man/woman. Sarah Palin unlawfully fired a man because he refused to fire her ex brother-in-law as a state trooper. She abused her power and that's not a good quality for a potential Vice President to have. Actually, I think it is a good quality for an executive to turf insubordinate employees...even the "poor" ones. Many people have lost their jobs because of this recession. If McCain wins, the recession will most likely continue and many more people will lose their jobs. You may or may not agree that McCain isn't a good choice. If you disagree and later have to go to the unemployment office, you will agree. Nope...won't make any bit of difference. If you believe this, then surely PM Harper is well on his way to a majority with "new jobs" created in September. Obama wants to end the war. McCain wants to continue the war. Do you want this war to drag on for the next four to eight years? No I don't believe that you do. Do you want to turn on your television and hear about more of our soldiers dying? No you don't. A vote for McCain is a vote to continue the war and the recession. Nope again....Obama wants to shift resources to Afghanistan...Biden even wants to attack Pakistan! Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Topaz Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 I was listening to a top general of the US military and he said that Iraq is going to have foreign troops there for some years yet but Afghanistan is so far down the road that it could be a generation or more before troops are out of there and that it may end up being the US alone. This is not news to anyone.....the US has been in Japan, Germany, and South Korea for over 50 years. Senator John McCain told you so. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Oleg Bach Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 Not to mention the base called Israel...talk about irritating and destablizing a whole area to maintain oil flow...and to use a religion as a front -shame. Quote

That works for me....but not for the dumb asses who think it only happened after George W. Bush was inaugurated. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
