Well the Olympics are on folks and you know what this means. While the masses are distracted by Bread and Circuses (well OK, bread's a little tight, but look at those divers!) Israel announces that it is full speed ahead and damn the land deeds in the West Bank.

Yes folks, Ehud Olmert might be a thieving crook, but we have Netenyahu and Lipni in the wings. Now there's a pair. Ariel Sharon would be proud of both. Did I cover Mr. Sharon's record in Lebaon? Well what the hell. Who cares about international law!

Let's all have a moment of silence for the Holocaust.

Palestinian construction workers building the foundations of a new house in the West Bank settlement of Nofei Prat. EU's French presidency said that Israel's decision to allow more building in settlements in Palestinian territories and east Jerusalem undermines the credibility of the peace process.

There's something strange about this picture.

What a wierd place to live...or work.

You're damned right. So occupation means that the only job you can get to feed your family is building a house on land taken from your brother illegally at slave labour wages.

Helps to understand why the Palestinians might be just a little ticked off, n'est-ce pas?

Well I just read the article and I must be going blind because no where did I see any mention of what you stated. Come on, admit it, you just made that up for dramatic effect didn't you.

No, you didn't, not in this post at least. I often hear mention of this matter, but rarely in a way which fits the historical record.

Your title refers to the word "Jews". Your last comment mocks the holocaust. You are yet again an example of someone who comes on this board, claiming to criticize Israeli foreign policy, but making references to Jews and the holocaust.

This is why people like me single people out like you. You want to criticize Israeli foreign policies, do so. You want to make references to Jews and the holocaust to show you won't differentiate and are interested in inciting hatred against Jews, then I say you are a bigot.

You are for me another classic example of someone who uses his alleged criticism of Israel to get negative shots in at Jews. The reference to the holocaust only serves to make that crystal clear.
