I have had two homosexual encounters and both were with a couple of women.

I felt so used.....

I had that dream too.

Although I realize you're trying to divert attention from the fact that many CPC members feel homosexuals are dirty faggots,

Well you realize wrong. You're just upset that some Conservative supporters crashed the Liberal love-in (read Conservative hate-fest) which you started with this thread.

how did the Saskatchewan NDP "gain" from the video, as described in your bolded text?

I would think someone as politically astute as you could tell us that.

Why does the far left insist on excusing Muslim violence? Why does the far left insist on excusing the virulent bigotry and hate espoused by everyday Muslims, to say nothing of their mosques and religious figures, towards women and - uhm, GAYS? You never see condemnation of that from the Left. Instead any time anyone accuses Muslims of anything they dig around for a Christian alternative.

Zoom, right over your head. Oh well better luck next time.

So what do they intend to do - pull a few fingernails, put conservatives in a pillory to make them confess to some hidden feelings they might have .. More instances of thought police and nazi like actions from the opposition.

I hope the opposition does come out publicly in favour of this inquiry. It would fit well with the opposition's desperate attempts to deflect from the Conservatives' governance achievements. The problem for the Liberals is that the harder they try the more their antics are annoying the rank and file as well as casual political observers.

What this MP should be saying is: It is extremely disappointing that the NDP would use a 17-year-old mistake for cheap political gain. "I will answer no further questions on this matter."

He should just s*t*f*u* and concentrate on doing his job.

QUOTE(guyser @ Apr 4 2008, 07:47 PM)

And while that may have some truth to it, it also has nothing to do with what Lukiwski said . He was being homophobic.

He was drinking and clowning around. Big deal. Get over yourself.

Get over myself?. I did not project myself into that post . Nice try though.

And yet, here folks is the classic " I was drunk" excuse. And even from the same guy that would blow a gasket when an accused might get a reduced sentence in court , cuz he was drunk.

You righties are too funny. When it is your guy caught drinking and clowning its only good ol boys doing it. But heaven help the other guy should he try it.

As for privacy act concerns, I would doubt anyone has a leg to stand on. For one, the that Act was not on the books at the time. Two, there is no gain. But I sure would like to see someone try as it would be interesting to follow .

So then the Cons must be soaring in the polls. They might reach a double digit lead with this.

Really, that`s a pretty unsubstantiated smear job on an identifiable group.

It's not unsubstantiated. CPCers are going out of their way to defend him, saying those who are offended by his statements are the "politically correct run amuck."

No, I can't. So you explain how the Saskatchewan provincial NDP have gained by this video.

Are you sure about that?

One thing for sure, at that time the LGBT community did not have any rights enshrined in legislation, not even in the Charter.

In 1991, sexual orientation was added to the Nova Scotia Human Rights Act.

In 1992, then-Justice Minister and Attorney General of Canada, Kim Campbell (who later became Canada's first female prime minister) announced that Canada was lifting its ban on homosexuals in the Canadian Forces, allowing them to serve openly and live on-base with their partners.[3] Canada was one of the first countries to allow homosexuals in the military.[citation needed] Sexual orientation was added to the human rights laws of New Brunswick and British Columbia.

In 1993, sexual orientation was added to the Saskatchewan Human Rights Act.

In 1994, the Supreme Court ruled that gays and lesbians could apply for refugee status based on their sexual orientation.

In 1995, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled in Egan v. Canada that "sexual orientation" should be 'read in' to Section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, a part of the constitution. The ruling had a wide impact since section 15 applies to all laws, including human rights acts that prohibit discrimination by all employers, landlords, service providers and governments. A court in Ontario ruled that gay and lesbian couples wishing to adopt jointly should be allowed to do so, making Ontario the first province to allow this. Currently, nearly all provinces allow gay and lesbian couples (and single gays and lesbians) to adopt children. The Newfoundland Human Rights Act was amended to include sexual orientation.

In 1996, sexual orientation was added to the Canadian Human Rights Act, an anti-discrimination law that applies to federally regulated activities throughout Canada.

If the government is so unacceptable why are the Liberals propping them up and why aren't the Liberals soaring in the polls? Both parties are stagnant in the national polls. In Quebec Conservative support is growing and Liberal support is plummeting. Go figure.

Why arent the Libs soaring ? Well thats easy...Dion.

It should rise (Cons) in Quebec. They are pandering to them.

Put it this way, if the Calgary Flames played the midget AAA team and only beat them by a goal or so would you ask whats wrong with the AAA team?

Nope, and as such all the gnashing about how bad the Libs are (and they are), the focus should be on why the Cons cant get any numbers to bury them. Afterall the Libs have given them free reign and they still cant get ahead by any real margin.

When you have a pathetic opponent , and you only beat them by the slimmest of margins, then one can conclude both are pretty pathetic.

Do you think Jews deserve hate protection? Did they not get sent to the same camps as the Jews?
The Jews and gays deserve safety protection and that's it. They do not deserve protection from hurt feelings.

Actually it started with contaminated vacines. Thew wrong type of monkey blood was used to make them. The distribution of these vacinations corisponds with the initial outbreaks of HIV in Africa.

Actually, I don't even want to think about what some people do with monkeys. <_<

This can't happen fast enough.
I inadvertantly helped shut down the CBC Forums, by sourcing an unflattering National Post article about their anti-Jewish moderation policies. Details, including PDF of NP article, available by PM of e-mail address.

There have been a lot of anti-abortion riots? Can you cite a few? I know a few loonies have killed over abortion but I'm aware of no "riots" which would be anything close to the kind of embassy burning violence we've seen in the Muslim world.
The far left seems to have a problem with moral clarity. I am quite far left but not that far.

Are you advocating beating up gay kids now?

Is English your second language or are you simply too uneducated and dull-witted to understand what I'm writing?

I can see, from the speed which this thread has grown that it attracts more than its share of inane comments, and the one on "beating gay kids"is far from the most silly. Threads like this other one (link) are usually pretty quiet by contrast and have only one inane commentator.

No I was not sure, and thanks for proving that. !993, well I just thought it would be a bit later.

You mean this?

In 1993, sexual orientation was added to the Saskatchewan Human Rights Act.

That not the Privacy Act, which I have been referring to in my previous posts.

Why? He clearly stated in no uncertain terms that it is perfectly normal behaviour to beat up gay kids.

The video was removed from a location in Saskatchewan so I think the Saskatchewan Privacy Act would apply more than the federal Act. From the Saskatchewan Privacy Act. (See the section I bolded.)

Lukiwski himself may have a case under that definition yet I believe he would not go to that length. The individuals with Lukiwski at that private gathering were clearly identifiable and I doubt they gave their consent to the NDP or the media to make use of the video. If one or more of those individuals is pissed off at their faces plastered all over the news, they may have just cause for a complaint.

No doubt this video is on YouTube. You Tube has a privacy complaint process where if a person find himself in a video and did authorize to be shown in the video, a person can complain and request that the video be pulled.

http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/...mp;answer=78346

There are facts to uncover about how the NDP actually came into possession of the video. Depending on the circumstances, there may be grounds for a lawsuit by one of the affected parties. It's too soon to tell.

I don't know. I haven't seen any legal opinion of this.

If what you say is true, why can the Tories use Dion's image on their website and ads? Why can they use his recordings both visual and audio? Is that forbidden in Saskatchewan as well? Do you have any Tory lawyers willing to give their opinion on this?
