The Trials of Henry Kissinger

With discussion of whether Castro should be tried for war crimes/crimes against humanity in another sub forum, I thought I'd chime in with the posting of this video link:

The Trials of Henry Kissinger

While not an overt fan of Hitchens, this is quite an extraordinary historical video, and certainly a must see for younger folk (those who don't recall the war in Vietnam, nor the associated problems in Cambodia as well as the turmoil instigated by the US under the authorship of Kissinger in Chile.)

Well presented and argued.

I only wish that old Henry wasn't the spitting image of my uncle...

So, should Kissinger be tried for crimes against humanity? Keep in mind he's the dude who wants to see food used as a weapon.

Good ol' Henry. The 'good cop' in the 'good cop-bad cop' combo of he and Nixon.

Not sure he deserves the full magilla of a war crimes trial. What point in particular would he be tried on again?

Mr. Burns: Thank you for visiting our plant, Dr. Kissinger.

Henry Kissinger: It was fun.

Smithers: We'll let you know if your glasses turn up.

Henry Kissinger: Yes, well, I'm sure I left them in the car.

[thinking]

Henry Kissinger: No one must know I dropped my glasses in the toilet. Not I, the man who drafted the Paris Peace Accords.

Sir B--: How do you know she is a witch?

Peasant: She turned me into a newt...

Sir B--: A Newt?

Peasant: Got better...
