This Harper CON government has absolutely shamed Canadians. Under Harper's watch, the RCMP have tased many people to death who are just different (like the Polish man just a few months ago and a few lower class people) and under Harper we have totured and killed 1000s of Muslims via the Canadian military just because they are of the same religion to the Taliban. These are under similar circumstances to Hitler's rise to power (people who are different get killed).

With all these shameful policies, the question is; if the bloc were to form a minority of 75 seats with the help of the green party, would it make a government that serves Canadian interests better than the Harper tories?

A separatist nationalistic Quebec party, that should never have been granted the status of a national federal party, would make a government that serves Canadian interest better than the Harper Conservatives?

Are you out of your head?

Even my dog would make a better prime minister than Harper. So yeah I'd even rather have Duceppe as leader than Harper. Actually if duceppe wasn't a seperatist I'd actually quite like him. He gets a lot more respect from me than Harper and his conservative party , that's for sure.

Ahh, the deep thought of the Left.

DrGreenthumb? Do you burst into tears and try to hide under the bed when you hear Harper's name mentioned? It sounds like it.

Under Harper's watch, from 2006 to present, exactly three people have died following being tased. Under the Liberal watch, from 2003 to 2005, fourteen people have died following being tased. So I would think the Liberals' have shamed Canadians at a greater rate than the Conservatives. Surprising, eh? You should do a little research before posting such hogwash.

By the way, as for your use of "CON" to refer to the Conservatives, I suggest you read the rules of the forum in terms of using acronyms and short forms when referring to third parties. If you are so inclined, see the news and announcements forums.

"Amnesty International says 17 people have died in Canada since 2001 after stun-guns were used by police. Besides the death Thursday of Howard Hyde, 45, in Dartmouth, N.S., the case of Claudio Castagnetta, 32, is also being reviewed. Castagnetta died in Quebec on Sept. 20 two days after being hit with a Taser."

Your roundabout way of comparing Harper to Hitler is rather over the top and shows a lack of original thought to put your point across.

You have your talking points wrong. It's not shameful policies, it's scary policies. What kind of Liberal school did you go to anyway?

How can the Bloc serve Canadian interests when the only reason it exists is to work for Quebec's extraction from the federation?

Yes, as I recall just the other day Harper launched into a splendid speech on the need for Lebensraum which he followed up with a decree that all Muslims be stripped of their citizenship and be required to walk around with a badge of the star and crescent.

The whole situation is completely off-base because no party, including the Green Party, is stupid enough to support the Bloc as the government. May I remind you that 308 minus 75 is 233 seats. 233 divided by 4 would still leave the NDP, Liberals, CPC, and GP with roughly 60 seats each (if evenly distributed, if not evenly distributed it would most likely leave one party with more seats than the bloc). Don't you think it would make more sense for the Liberals, NDP, and Greens to form some sort of coalition or understanding? Furthermore we must recognize that Bloc is a separatist party. The bloc is not interested in the desires of Canadians, the bloc is not interested in the desires of Quebec's Anglo-phone population, the bloc is not interested in the desires of Quebec's federalist population. To the point if you want to look for exclusion and discrimination based on superficial characteristics look no further than the bloc. If you want to look for disaster to the average Canadian look no further than the bloc. This whole concept is patently absurd.

The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. - Ayn Rand
