You also know creating a party like this would also be to make the Liberals and NDP merge while this party is the true party to take on the Conservatives and then the NDP and Liberals would be weaker and since we are blue liberal and red tory we would give Canadians a strong choice. I also feel most Canadians would welcome a merger between the NDP and Liberals since the Liberals are a dying breed and their name is toxic out west. This way we also help to create a strong party with a strong name.

Well the name I saw under Mel Hurtig showed up under the National Party of Canada but my name has been used in Centre Party (Germany) in fact if you check out this party at wikipedia and use "Centre Party (Germany)" then you will see what I want to model it after. I also got this party idea from "Conservative Party (UK)" and want to model it after the British tory party which would lie between the two major parties ideologically and that is centre to centre-right.

To those who believe the party won't go anywhere I spent a lot of time with the Progressive Canadian party but I told them that the party is not going anywhere so that party is dead and there is no hope of reviving that party. I ever told them you cannot win the with the Canadian in the name. That thing "Conservative" is worth a whole lot and without it the party is not going anywhere. I also said you need the Centrist name since it may be popular with a lot of people and it could be the balance between the two major parties so a balance party may be something that is good to a lot of people. This party wants to be centre to centre-right ideologically and that is something important since we would balance people and profit and never step away from that position. We would never be taken over by corporations and big business just like we will never be taken over by unions and the public sector. We want that middle position.

Well what the party stands for is reducing the size of government and focusing on the issues that work for Canadians like protecting health care and education and making them essential services and reforming them to make them work more efficiently. I feel that spending too much money on the military does not work and we need to focus on the areas that will give us the most savings. Also we would decriminalize marijuana and we would lower taxes on the taxes that matter like small and medium sized business and we would invest in manufacturing in the areas that create the most jobs. We would increase our fuel efficiency standards and we would invest in clean energy and get away from investing in dirty sources of energy. Also, we would try to get more people to vote and make the decorum in the House of Commons improve with a positive message. We would disagree on the issues and never attack our opponents personally.

Also one important thing to give people on here the reason I wish to create this party is not to make more parties but to actually give the Canadian public a chance to actually vote for something and not vote against someone else which politics is turning into today. Politics has become so partisan that anything will be used as a wedge issue or a chance at dividing the Canadian public but I say no more.

Did you even read the platform page that I set up and the issues that were brought up. I thought long and hard with the people who are currently trying to help set up this party. We would be tough on crime and be compassionate and be about protecting our north, our border and our coasts but be peacemakers and be about peacekeeping.

What you don't also understand is the Conservatives are neoconservative and not moderate conservative which there is no party in Canada that is moderate conservative like in the rest of the world. In fact that is the alternative we would offer. Also, we would say we are the party of Sir John A. MacDonald and say that we want to stand up for parliamentary democracy which means working together and compromising on the issues and we would fight for fiscal conservatism, social progress and a balanced approach to the issues of the day.

Well the point is most Canadians agree the Bloc Quebecois, the NDP and the Greens are on the fringes and even though they may change they will always be viewed that way. We are almost fully established and even though you think me bringing up this topic is a joke it is not and most Canadians don't vote for a reason. Why don't you answer why 46 to 49% of Canadians choose to stay home and then you can come back to me?

The kind of party me and a lot of guys are starting is a successor and what is wrong with wanting to make sure there is a third moderate party that is between the two major parties that gives Canadians another choice. In fact in Great Britain those three parties are very close ideologically and they are around the centre. I say that if it gives another choice and the Canadian people want change since there is stagnant leadership and it is positive and wants to maintain our social programs and wants to focus on priorities and aiming to reduce the debt and deficit I say it is good and most Canadian would be for it. The fact of the matter is most Canadians hate the Liberals and vote Conservative to stop the Liberals. That is the fact and I know Atlantic Canadians who just vote Conservative because there is no other alternative.

Let us say that the party was a successor to the Progressive Conservative party and was a blue liberal and red tory party that aimed to lower taxes but be socially compassionate in the British tradition and aimed to increase voter intention and work in the tradition of Sir John A. MacDonald would that cause a lot of people in the two major parties to switch to this party?

Don't the Conservatives understand that if they are doing these attack ads they are basically asking the voting public for an election that no one wants.
