Well it was Wednesday night... so at least we know for sure it wasn't a pic of Rob deep throating a Twoonie Tuesday Meal from the K.

Yelling help? Sounds like he was looking for someone to help him. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Ford is probably a nice guy, he really needs to take a moment and think before he says things or decides to act though. The reporter, from all reports I have read was just doing his job... It will be interesting though to see what was sent via text and what pictures were taken. I assume the police will look at these things as part of their investigation. If what he has told us is accurate, Ford needs to apologize and I hope someone suggests that he seek help with his anger issues. If what the reporter has told turms out to not be true, i hope there is a legal remedy that can be pursued.

In fact I have! Many years ago, someone played a prank after hours on another employee and changed their desktop image to a pornographic one. I was tasked by my manager to find out who was responsible. I went around and casually spoke to a number of my employees to try to get to the bottom of it and report back to my manager. For all intents and purposes it was an internal investigation. You are just playing at semantics if you claim what the CPC had ordered wasn't an investigation.

You haven't answered my question yet Capricorn, were they being interviewed for new jobs?

Yeah... Really!!!! Set in Melbourne, Marshall Law tells the story of two sisters - Ros and Verity Marshall (played by Lisa McCune, popular after her seven-year run on Blue Heelers; and Alison Whyte, well known for her role on Frontline) - working at the Magistrate's Court. Ros is a Junior Prosecutor who is more interested in partying, and is having to prove her worth at the bench; while the more-experienced and overachieving Verity is now working as a barrister. Both sisters soon find themselves in for surprises.

We'd better stop buying all the crap that is manufactured in China then too... Walmart is not going to like that! -
Do you have an example? It may be my bias but as i sit here the one example that I can pull out says the opposite, look at the example of privatized jails. I honestly can't think of another one.

Hahaha.... that's pretty funny.

Correct. You, especially as a woman, should watch the first few minutes, it will add some context to it all. You realize it's JUST a picture right? Ok. You're right to find it so.

I visit ridings all over Ontario, even have relatives in other ridings, does that give me the right to vote in them?

Liberal Gay agenda once again pushed on the mayor!

I'll admit that I would laugh, but I would also laugh if it was a left leaning politician, I'm equal opportunity that way.... -
I suppose if you had absolutely no sense of humour it would be considered that. I would think people might be more concerned on the factual sound bites that were presented before the harmless picture, but again, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by anything at this point.

For scotch... Peaty or smokey whiskys (almost always Islay Whiskys) are that way because of where the water comes from and flows through and whats used to fire the kilns, if you try a Highland whisky you'll get a heathery whisky or a salty tasting from the Island distillerys. Each region of the 6 have distinct tastes and tones.

We had Highland Parks Master Distiller Max McFarlane present a collection a couple years ago at a Quaich dinner. IIRC there were 4-5 offerings presented, this was of course before HP was available at the LCBO. I found the 15 nicer than the 18 for some reason, my have been the dinner that was served with it (can't recall what it was) or perhaps even the order in which they were presented or it may have been completely subjective. Anyway, point being that it's nice to be able to try different whiskys at the same time, gives a better representation of what their strengths and nuances are. If only money weren't an issue! Is it too early for a dram?
-
Sigh... So he interviewed some people.... Was he thinking of hiring them or was this part of an investigation?
-
I depends, as you most likely know, which area the Scotch is from... A lot of the Whiskys from the Highland and Lowland regions have those qualities.

Have you tried the 15 yr old HP?
