Obama's Press Conference Mistake
CANADIEN replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Yet, the so called causality between genes and intelligence is fiction. How do you explain that the gap in IQ test scores between Black and White Americans decreased after school desegregation? Genetic mutation? -

this, coming from you... me kettle, you pot. To state that two things, or animals, or two people are not euqal is is not only to say they're different, but to place them on a scale. The only measure of the value of human beings is their thoughts and their actions, not their race. It is exactly because I ask myself questions that I can recognize drivel such as yours. -

Your point no 1 exemplifies why the link between IQ 9or to be more accurate, IQ test score) and iiintelligenc is teneous at best. too many other factors (socio-economic background, quality of education environment, even choice of questions) can play a factor -
I do not believe the "only 10" number. And no, I am not saying that any one has made that one up. We are talking about reported rapes that resulted in conviction; the real numbers are higher.... As for your comment, it is incredibly idiotic even by your standards.

The only difference between affirmative action and "good 'ole" discrimination is that it is not founded on the belief that some people are kust not good enough based on the colour of their skin and their ancestry. This absence of a wrong basis does not make less discriminatory, or necessaory for a multicultural society.

Of course, I'd never say something like that. -

The "difference means unequality" non-sense is so ridiculous it shows just by writing it. But since you talk about similarities. Human beings are all... human beings. That's similarity enough for me. -
That would get my blessing for marrying the person that is right for them. Regardless of skin colour or ethnicity.

Racism is - according to you - nothing more than an evolutionary trait needed for self-defense and self-preservation. Until it is pointed that you exhibit it, then you become all defensive. Interesting

So now animal are racists.

Yep, that article is quite the endorsement.

Obama's Press Conference Mistake

The problem is with generalisation is that it ignores a basic fact - that not two human beings are the same. Nice though to see that you revert to the old baseless argument that I.Q. is linked to intelligence and intelligence to race. You have never see fit to explain why the Utes and the Aztecs, close parents genetically speaking, created vastly different societies. Or why the difference in IQ scores between American Blacks and Whites actually decreased after desegregation of schools. -
Here it goes; you were talking about the same David Duke who wrote on his Web site as to why he opposes Obama?

Sooo... you're finally admitting that skin colour has nothing to do with a person's qualities or personality? Considering that I have not said a thing about it. Usual lictor intellectual dishonesty. -
To be fair, tango, I added that paragraph while I was reviewing my posting, at the same time that he was responding to it. I am still curious to see what he will answer, though.

Nothing to do, of course, whit the hostility that homosexuals are likely to encounter because of who they are? Those homosexuals who are accepted by their family and friends for who they are are less likely to commit suicide, less likely to have mental disorders than those who are not.
-
What can I say, you make me laugh.
-
I would if I did. You, on the other end, will never tire of it. So that you will as usual distort what I say in yet another bout of intellectual dishonesty? To debate your idea would pre-suppose they're worth debating. BTW, you were talking about the same David Duke who wrote on his Web site as to why he opposes Obbbama?

"Birthers" movement problem for GOP

And I thought it was racist anti-white vote that led him to the White House. -

To one, just months ago is two months. To others, eight. -

There is no denying that some people voted for Obama because of his skin colour... And there is no denying that people voted against him because of his skin colour. You would have voted against him if you had been an american, PRIMARILY because of his skin colour. So do yourself a favour and stop being an hypocrite. -
A movie praised by stormFront. I shoul watch it... when I am completely bored with nothing to do. Next on your list of movies to watch, lictor... anything about Bozo the Clown... will tell you how most people see you.

Obama's Press Conference Mistake

Let's admire the logic here. Barack Obama is the first US Black President, so people who voted for him did so because he is Black. -
Considering that I never said, or thought, that there is a wave of white racist attacks against Blacks in this country, you'll excuse me while I laugh. Interesting by the way, how some people hate to hear about the fact that groups where there is a higher rate of criminals are also usually the poorest. Nope, cannot say a thing about that. could it be because the conclusion that is sought is not only that proportionnaly more crimes are committed by members of certain groups, but also that members of those groups are criminals by definition?.
