The child was born half way around the globe, so she contacts the Kenyan ambassy, gets info as to the form to be used and the fees to be paid, send her request to Kenya. In Kenya, it finds its way through the bureaucracy and lo and behold., in 24 days. Wow, you can not even have that fast of a service in Ontario in 2009. As for the bit about the possible registration of foreign births in Hawaii. It exists, that's a fact... so is the fact that the birth registration then shows the PLACE OF BIRTH. State officials says that the registration gives Honolulu as the place of birth. If this was a registration of a birth in Mobasa, it would say... Mombasi. And there there's the claim that the original Kenya birth record may have ended up in the UK... yet a Kenyan official would have been able to produce a copy of it. Particularly interesting considering that usually, when countries become independant, vvital records stay there. And finally, the bit about the copy found in Kenya may be the only surviving copy... Routinely, when government agencies anywhere issue a birth certificate or certification of a birth record, they do not keep a copy of that certificate... They do not need to, they have the original registration already on file... Unless Kenya has unique and different procedures.

You cannot discount the fact that racists (among others), have taken those numbers and try to make them say something else that what they actually say. The METHODOLOGY is being contested. Many past groups of immigrants did experience the same integration problems, the same economic difficulties, but you discard those on account that "they were more like us". Also, you would ban entire groups on account of the crimes committed by a minority of their members. Looks to me like you're the ones having low expectations towards certain groups.

Genetics has actually not that much to do with human intelligence, except in case of abnormal genes. Other factors such as education, environment, health, soci-economic conditions play as much of a role, if not actually a bigger role, than genes. Besides, the genetic explanation fails to account for documented facts, such as the decreasing gap in score results between American Whites and Blacks in the decades that followed school desegragation. It does not explain how IQ scores tend to be higher on average among Northern Ireland Protestants than Catholics, or the difference between Ashkhenazi and other Jews.

I agree with most of your premise. That being said, I will not comment on kimmy's position, as I haven't seen enough of her postings to form an oinion. Nut I have seen enough of Argus' posts on this and other subjects to conclude he is looking not for a solution, but for yet another way to demonized Blacks.
