  1. After something like that, you wonder why about anyone knows that you are a racist.
  2. Of course, any incident of domestic violence in an all-white couple is to be blamed on you for advocating race separation.
  3. The reason why the keeping of crime stats by race or ethnicity is controversial is that they will be used, even out of context, by bigoted people to demonize entire groups. The claim that some poeple here are trying to protect minorities because "they don't no better" is so rdicolous that it belongs in Yk!Yuk!, not in public debate. As for the claim you treat everyone the same, excuse me while I laugh.

  5. You are at lost to understand what is being said, indeed. Yhe NUMBERS are from the Justice Dept. But the Dept. of Justice is not saying they are numbers of rapes committed in the US. They clearly say they are the results of a survey of sexual assaults. Not the same thing. The specific numbers you are reporting are a SAMPLE from a survey on the PERCEIVED race of the offenders. The numbers are NOT saying what you claim they say, but you don't care.
  6. I must have gotten to a different FrontPage, then. Less than ten sexual assaults by American Whites on Amercian Blacks a year, and you call that a fact? You will not even admit that the numbers you quote are wobblyyyy, because you don't care.
  7. It matters. Women (and in some cases men) are too afraid or too ashamed to report a vicious crime. Which makes it more likely to happen again, and justice is not done. It does when one concludes the numbers are those of rapes COMMITTED. Still doesn't change the fact that is the methodology is not sound, the numbers are uselss. And in any case, the satistics you refer to are not for rape. Their are for all sexual assaults, is based on a survey, not an aggregate of data, the methodology is contested, and one of the numbers quoted is so ridiculously low that it renders the who set meaningless. But as long as you can use it for suit your bigotry, you do not care.
  8. As demonstrated by more than one poster here, the very methodology used in arriving at the federal numbers is problematic. Those numbers are not definitive, and saying they are diminshes whatever limited usefulness they may already have.
  9. Have you actually even seen ONE baby of a interracial couple? I have seen a few ones and have NEVER had any problem seeing the similarities between the little bundles of joy and their parents.
  10. Not any of the intercultural or interracial couples I know.
  11. Fair enpugh. That being said, you will excuse me if I have a problem with data that indicates that the number of reported sexual assaults where the victim is White and the attacker is considered to be Black is so low in the USA that it does not register statistically speaking. 1000, I would say "that low, really?". 100, I would say, "there is something wrong with the numbers". 10, I say "Excuse me?"
  12. I'll make one exception and waste my time commenting about your latest bout of stupidity. This is where Argus went for his stats. At least, that's the link he posted on the posting of this thread.
  13. Since non-reported crimes are, well... unreported, it's difficult to know. But I would believe it's a fair assumption.
  14. Not to say I don't give any credence to the numbers that Argus reported (I have problems with what is actually reported, but that's a methodology issue). But I find it interesting that he went to far right-wing blogs to search for them. I am not even sure he actually bothered to look at the federal site itself.
  15. Racism is also the belief that all members of a certain group are automatically to be treated like criminals. That does not make him right, and I will say it - he holds a racist stereotype about members of his own community. Curious, I have heard about Whites doing it too. And my judgement based on experience is that I have NEVER, in my life, had any problem or incident with Black or Muslim men. Interesting, considering that, among other things, I live 300 ft. from a mosque. There is one thing to say that certain groups commit more crimes, especially when this is the case. This is another case to preach that we should all ignore our capacity to think rationally and rely on knee-jerk reactions every time we come across young Blacks or a group of Muslims. PS: Yes, I have a few times in my life reacted on the basis on ingrained stereotypes. But then, I smarted up real quick once I started thinking about it.
  16. How you have the gall to write something like that is beyond me. First, how do you know that the data they collected is for that university in Oregon only? Nothing on that page infers that. "As far as you know", somebody inverted the numbers? Or course, you don't like them, so somebody must have inverted them. BTW, you have no problem accepting without questioning it a number is ridiculous as less thean 10 Black women were sexually assaulted by White men in the US in 2005. Think about it for one second and tell me you don't find something wrong about it.
  17. Interesting numbers. Do they quote their sources?
  18. The statistics provided at the start of this thread are a wobbly start for a discussion. For a number of reasons. 1- less than 10 sexual assaults by white men against Black women in the US? I am not saying that there were thousands, but 10? Frankly? I am not saying here that somebody is lying, but there is a methodology problem here. 2 - the numbers reported refer to the "perceived" race of the men committing sexual assault. Perceived? When the police arrests someone, I would think they know what the accused looks like. 3 - the stats speak of numbers of reported sexual assaults; REPORTED; not resulting in a conviction; that would be a better mesure here 4 - finally, the statistics are for sexual assaults, not rapes alone Other numbers and known facts are to be taken into account. According to the same US federal statistics quoted here, 73% of sexual assaults and about 2/3 of rapes were committed by someone known to the victim. When it comes to children, 93% of secual assaults were committed by people they knew. 6 in 10 sexual assaults occured at the home of the victim or somebody they know. Also, there has been a steady decrease in the number of reported sexual assaults since the mid-1990's. More importantly, estimates are that about 6 sexual assaults in 10 are never reported to the police. My assumption that most of them are committed by someone known to the victim. (numbers are from the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network)
  19. Nice try at hinding your hatred behind science. BTW, I do not believe for one second that racism is a one way street. Typical lictor intellectual dishonesty.
  20. And I have seen the opposite.
  21. Those idiots don't bother commenting on anything that does not further their cause.
  22. He'd probably end up cursing the race traitor.
  23. And you wonder why I find you laughable.
