Me neither, but hey Mr. Canada claims this happens and last year he was planning to capture it on film. Still waiting...

I must be.... I am waiting with sheer anticipation at Mr. Canada's long-announced moive on flying fluids at the Gay Parade.

There is a difference... Sarah Palin has even less of a clue what she is talking about.

Funny how you are oblivious to the fact that Obama, no matter what one may think about him, is still a Head of State elected in a FREE, DEMOCRATIC election and that, unlike the right-wing fascist type of dictatorship you favour, there will be a FREE, DEMOCRATIC election in the USA.

Socialist/Islamist alliance, right... Perhaps we should send you to talk to Syrian islamists languishing in jail. Between two torture sessions, they'll sure be thrilled to know that their socialist government is actually really, really, really their ally.
-
... the same way they cause bodily fluids to fly high and far enough at the Gay parade that you can capture them on camera, right?

Nope. I typed d instead of s

We do not know what existed before the Universe, therefore God existd... I'll stick to faith, it makes more sense.

British Leader Admits Multiculturalism Has Failed Badly
CANADIEN replied to bill_barilko's topic in The Rest of the World
Good question... Lives mostly in the US, raises children as Americans, can often be counted to do her patriotic part with other American artists... Not that I have a problem with doing her doing it, it is her choice. -
Bill does not make any claim to that effect. learn to read. Nope. Simply pointing that if God had chosen for the Bible to be a science book, the text would have been very different. Learn to read. I would not have audacity to claim I or anyone knows the mind of God. Learn to read. Besides, you are the one who claims that the existence of God can be proven by scinece. Not me. So, once again, show us the formula, will you? Yes.

British Leader Admits Multiculturalism Has Failed Badly

The only way the PQ/BQ almost won the referendum in 1995 was through a cquestion so unclear some people thought they were actually voting for a mandate to reform Canadian federalism. If there were another referendum today, their only remote chance of winning would be if enough people feel asleep on their way to the polling booth. -

Quebec is part of Canada, therefore she is a Canadian. As for ms. Dion, there was a time when Bloc MPs would claim she was not Québécoise enough, following some pro-unity comments she had made in 1992. Granted, she is now more American than anything else. -

She is Canadian, since she is from Quebec, and I'd agree with you about the Americans keeping her... except that would be anti-American. -

Immigrants should be Canadians or Americans. Well... Canadians and Americans have the right to let it be known when they feel offended, including the right to seek an end to the perceived offence, provided of course that they do it in a legal manner. In other words, Canadians and Americans have the right not to be fine with wha they find offensive. Since you want immigrants to be Canadians or Americans, surely you want them to have this right as much other Canadians and Americans have it, right? -
You do not get it, do you? The proof of the existence of God (since this is Who we are talking about here) comes from faith, not scientific knowledge. You feel free to prove a factual, concrete, scientific proof of the existence of God. Keeping in mind, of course, that YOU admit that scientific knowledge has its limits.

The CRTC, and Useage Based Billing.
CANADIEN replied to Battletoads's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The problem is not caps per say, or heavier users paying more. The problem is that the duopoly (cable/phone) is gouging the public through exorbitant fees and stiffling competition. Regulation of ISPs is needed to protect the interests of the customers. There is a sad irony in the fact that the regulator (the CRTC) is allowing for the duopoly to gouge the public and that a right-wing pro-"laissez-faire" government is stepping in an reversing the regulator's decision. -

Genesis is not expressing geological time. Genesis is an allegorical tool.
-
My thought exactly whenever I read your non-sense.
-
Yes. God told us. But He did not use science. If He had, the Bible would open with a very precise scientifi text explaining EXACTLY how God did it. And we would not understand half of it.
-
Correction. You are MISusing science texts to draw a conclusion that cannot be drawn from them, regarding the existence or non-existence of God. If the scientific evidence demonstrates the existence of God, show us the God formula. The existence of God is found through faith, and is not and cannot be explained through a scientific theory. VERY simple.
-
Nope. A theory does not propose a theory. Individuals propose theories. That no reliable theory on the mechanics of the apparition of life exists does not invalidate the theory of evolution.
-
The Bible says the truth. The issue is the incapacity of some to understand how the truth is being said.

Indeed. Threat of political violence in a democracy are non-sensical. whether they come from the left or the right. Wouldn't you agree? Or do you only notice it when it serves your purpose? -
She is serious. Unfortunately, there is still people of faith with this kind of seriousness. Hopefully, there are more and more people of faith who KNOW that there is no contradiction between their faith and evolution. What I found interesting is the notion that evolution is a flawed theory or has been disproven because it does not addresses the issue of how life first appeared on Earth. This position just plains ignore the fact that evolution is not about how life appeared, but about how it has changed over time. Two different things. And if evolution is not fact, then how does one explain scientifc evidence of life forms that predates the apparition of human beings? It is one thing (which I believe) to say that all life and all Creation ultimately comes from God. It is quite a different thing to deny the FACT of evolution because it contradict allegories used to say that God created the Universe (i.e. the Genesis story), or to develop pseudo-scientific theories (i.e. intelligent design).
