I thought that was what the CBCs Job was? one program i watched was about teenage sexuality . they had a poor young 16 year old fellow on there with green hair who was trying to figgure out if he was gay or bi or strait . He had a girlfriend but not for sex . Was getting a little from strange men i guess . This canadian idenity thing I think has gone a bit too far trying to stay unamerican . They have made a homemade culture that don't really exist.

I just returned from the sea ,was out trawling (no fish) . But any way got a TV in the wheel house of my boat .and we was far enough from land that i only could get one channel on my tv ,and i forgot to take any movies . Wouldn't you know it the one channel that would come in clear was the CBC . I set the Other night to make a 6 hour tow and watched the CBC for 6 hours strait . What has happened has it been completly taken over by leftist homosexuals? For me ,watching 6 hours of the cbc was almost torture . The national news was ok but every other program was torture . I was some glad when i got close enough to land to pick up a other chanel . Im going shoping today for a bunch of movies for next trip ,or else some good books .

I think if you study the bible the land spoken of is given to Isreal after the second coming of Christ . I'm Not claiming to be perfect , and yes i could use some house cleaning. Well sir I think I am being judged what this scripture is warning about is being a hippocrit . The bible actually tells men of God they must try to stop other people from sinning at times. Try James 5 ;19-20 Pauls whole reason for writing letters was to warn and scold for sins . Peter warned others of sin. Isaiah was told to cry aloud and spare not show the people their sins:Isaiah 58:1 Ezekiel was told that if he never warned people about their sins ,their blood would be on his hands ,or his fault. But if he did warn them ,it would be their fault . Ezekiel 33 make sure you read verses 14-15 as there It shows that God does forgive sins if someone has an attitude of repentance . Some sin and get away with it as they truely are sorry after. so sins of the past that one has repented of ,is nothing compared to the ones you plan to do tomorow . Its in your attitude , Do you beleave in Gods Wisdom on Good and Bad . Or would you rather make your own rules on Good and evil . Its what God told us to leave alone the tree of the Knowledge of Good and evil . He wants us to beleave in his opinions instead of making our own up like most do. There has been an explosion of lobster and crab reproduction in our oceans . Why ? my guess is a shortage of herring , I beleave small herring ate the lobster and crab larvee out of the water . Now that herring are being wiped out every egg becomes a lobster . The more herring get scarce the more lies are told about the stock conditions ,as they need herring for lobster and crab bait . Herring seiners that use to work inshore less then a mile , now days often travel 100 miles off . We are loseing our herring and thats the oceans back bone . Acurate history of marine resources is avoided by DFO as it would prove them incompetant . Isted all eyes are on dollars landed from the ocean. Cod Landings now mean nothing , its lobster that fills the pockets . This is completley A new thing but nobody cares or even looks at what it really means to our ocean. Id say to be honest we have less then 10% the fish stocks that was in my grandfathers generations ocean. DFO don't relise this ,or hide it. But lobsters and crabs are now reproduceing like never before . The ocean has been turned into a scavenger factory. We are loseing our oceans , its been hid by the publics lust for scavengers , but nobody is looking at the end result of changing the oceans normal reproduction patterns. I think the key to Cod not coming back is Hagfish the ocean is exploding in them now days . Its the species that DFO protects the most and my theory is its the one wipeing the cod out . As if a Cod eats one its dead in 1 hour . When herring and other food is Scarce I beleave they do eat them. I almost know im right , but When mentioning this to DFO the just lauph . DFO is incompetant, But because they can spell better then fishermen like men . They manage our oceans .They don't even have to go look at an ocean , can stay right in their offices in ottawa and send a brainwashed scientist out 2-3 days a year.

I want to comment on your statement that nova scotians and new foundlanders was different 75 years ago . Maybe it was differnet in a lot of ways lets compare back a few years . Price of a lobster licence in my generation 1,000,000 dollars price 10 years ago = 2000 dollars price to my grandfathers generation =.50 cents wharfage in my fathers day = 0 now i have to pay 2000 a year or so building a boat today =1,000,000 my fathers generation = about 1/3 to half was subsidised . The goverment would pay you 100,000 or more to build a boat. the boats only cost 200,000 .Today no subsidies for any thing in fishing . Its just pay ,pay pay. some actually had brand new 65 footers built only oweing 60,000 to 70,000 . wide open fishing for any thing boat loads where landed . Some boats was paid for in 6 months . Nobody even thought of paying for fish to business men yet . Also the ocean was full of fish . My grandfather could load his boat 1/2 mile from land . My father hardly ever went out side of 10 miles . I usally have to fish 100 miles off in very deep water . deeper then ever fished before . In my grandfathers generation some actually fished with dynomite , just threw a stick in the water and watch some come to the surface . Most the damage to the ocean was done by my fathers generation . they fished wide open no thought for tomorow . Small mesh gear any thing went . The ITQ quota system is a result of this former generation getting too old to go to sea but still wanting the profits from our resources . (i Think in the bible when it talks of Fathers eating the flesh of their children it means restricting their rights into your pocket with goverment) Most the licences was held by fish buyers back a few years ago . these fish buyers mostly don't even buy fish now . As they get all the profit from them through ITQ quotas . so don't need to buy fish any more .

Your not listening to me . I am not against Quotas ,A good fair quota that worked id be more then happy with. Conservation is not the reason for ITQ quotas its just what goverment sells it with . Its to make certain friends of goverment very rich men. The ITQ quota system is actually very harmfull on fish stocks . Millions of lbs of cod have been dumped back dead in this system. You can't get the truth out as a hand full of very powerful men are making so much money they hire people to tell it the way they want it told. DFO breaks their own policies often , they have a law that no indivdual can own over 2% of the TAC but they knowenly allow some to own 20% or more .Its done through trust agreements in offices . The big problem with ITQ quotas is its all based on lies in logbooks . Ownership is mostly given to non fishermen . Fishbuyers in most cases . Seems while the fishermen where busy fishing the buyers where busy plotting and doing crooked deals with goverment. It don't seem fair too me that 2 years of distorted lied about history should give people ownership of Canadas fish for eternity . These people don't have to invest any money just set back and rack in incredable profits off a piece of paper that goverment friends made up for them. Its not right that laudered money was in the system . Its not right that some knew the future (goverment helped some know ) so they prepared and plotted eternal ownership . It was worce then insider tradeing on stock markets . There is better ways . The americans have fishing days , only aloud so many days a year .plus trip quotas. When the ITQ system came in ,the american ocean was in hard shape ,and the Canadian side was full of fish . Now the american ocean is probly healtier then the canadian side . The Canadian side has lost ground big time . Some of these people that own these fish never had any Catch records at all it was complete gifts from goverment . It was way better off then giving someone 1,000,000 dollars . As it was big money for eternity or till fish stocks are completely gone. Alot of users now are mad at goverment power being used to make a few rich men own the whole ocean. So they have an attitude of lets just steal the fish . Most in the community agree that the fish should be stolen as nobody beleaves DFO has any conservation on their mind . Nobody minds conserving for the next generation accept DFO in most peoples eyes. So they might as well get their share too before its all gone. DFO seems only intrested in driveing small fishermen out so 10-20 men can own it all .Conservation is not DFOs agenda , its creating a monopoly for a few rich friends . What they get in Return can only be speculated on. I do know that one of the main guys that decided who owned what now has a high dollar do nothing type job from some of the ones he helped the most.

Im not suggesting the goverment drop quotas and open all fisheries wide open. I beleave in conservation as much as any man. My point is the Goverment uses the word conservation to get away with every crooked deals it wants to push for .Alot of fishermen beleave the goverment is actually plotting to distroy our fish stocks instead of save them.Alot of fishermen beleave they want the fish gone so they can more easily get at suspected oil and natural gas reserves under prime fishing bottom . I myself cannot come to beleave our goverment is that evil , but more like bueracrates with alot of power being persuaded by lobiest with alot of money. Sometimes i actually think a wide open fishery might be healthier for the ocean ,as boats would get loaded and have to go in . where as now days they just keep fishing for fish that don't exist and throwing back the ones that do. I could guess why cod fish don't seem to be able to survive like haddock . (1) Cod are bigger ,even small ones can't get through cod ends . (2) Cod eat different food ,mainly hering which are in trouble ,and shrimp which are heavily fished . I suspect with a shortage of food Cod turn to other sources of food . The ocean is full of hag fish ,if a cod eats one he is dead in one hour . With a shortage of hering and shrimp i think cod turn to hagfish for food and this is poison .

And pay every expence out of their half. If the fish are not in the ocean the fishermen lose . If the market crashes (happens alot ) the fishermen lose . trying to make a profit with this much risk is almost imposible , but fishermen like me are driven to it because fishing is all we ever did . So not much good at any thing else . So the men with a history of fishing are being driven out by men with no history what so ever on the grounds of history . Sounds like Corruption too me .
