A Canadian woman said she is ashamed to be a Canadian
bjre replied to bjre's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
OK, let's assume she did something wrong, for example, suppose she had wear a burka, what is your idea? use stone to kill her so that her human right be completely taken away? When a private agency, that has government granted power and with the support of one of the strongest police force and most powerful court in a developed country, dealing with a weak woman, why do they fear of let a ombudsmen to investigate the cases be complaints? why are they so fear of video/audio recording and threat others not use it? why they close the case in such a hurry as soon as they know their meeting had been secret recorded. So you began to stand with the strong state machine against the weak woman. So if any woman in Canada meet any human rights issue, you will accuse her without any evidence and using all what you can suspect, why a woman in another country, you will attack that culture/religion/government there. When you show no care about people's human rights near your home, of your own nation, those could be your brothers and sisters, all human right you are talking about are just lies. Now it is clear you are just another hypocritical poor man who can only repeat what lobbyist talking in the media without your own thought. What a pity. -
A Canadian woman said she is ashamed to be a Canadian

This is not about left wing or right wing, it is about human right. As you so care about women's human right even in a Muslim country, I suppose you will be more care about human right in your homeland and will be willing to fight for it, instead of fearing the topic and try to deny it with all your courage and integrity lost suddenly. There are many such things, for example, here: http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index.php?showtopic=13562&view=findpost&p=527066 -
A Canadian woman said she is ashamed to be a Canadian

Do you mean people's right should be taken away when they did something wrong same as a murder? The woman did not kill any other. I assume you did not. And you still did not answer my question, have you ever did something wrong? if you did, do you believe you should be treated same as a murder? The point is CAS being the evil. They legally attacked the woman based on lies. They knew that clearly. They fear of truth. They intentionally bully the woman with lies. As soon as they find the woman has the evidence, they began to fear and close the case as soon as possible with no reason clarified. Here is the other piece of the video about the woman which shows the true face of the evil CAS: -

No, that is not my point. I want more people to care about the human right issues in Canada because everyone who is living here cares about his/her living environment. If you have a kid or you want a kid in future, do you want to live in fear, do you want to let it be when you find his problem. If you have friends here and they meet problem with kids, do you want to say something for them? If you see evil here, do you want some change to make life better? If you see bully, do you yourself want to be bullied someday. Do you think you should not have human right just because you were from a certain country? It is not a problem of immigrant. The original post is about a white woman who was born and raised in Canada. Do you mind start a new thread if you want to talk about immigrant issues? -
Being rude can not prove your opinion is right or not.

In the video, the woman said: From the emotion, this woman is obliviously been bully for a long time, although she was not wearing a burka. -
Because they want to talk it. And it is not good to talk in an irrelevant thread.

Even if it was her fault (but actually it was not), she still is a human being. Do you mean if CAS got some testimony, they can take away all her human rights? Does anyone perfect here. Did you ever do something wrong? So your human right can be taken away due to your im-perfect? -
What else do you want to say?

Every country manipulate its currency through its central bank and by other means. Especially for US, not only manipulate its own currency, but also want to manipulate all currency in the world. There are too many examples, here is one of them: in 1971, Nixon ended the gold standard for US dollars, but Nixon was from US government at that time. You may say, Federal Reverse is not a government agency. But US government is just selected by huge interest groups. So the interest groups are the real boss of the States and many other countries, like Canada. They actually want to control currencies from Russia, to Thailand, to South America, to Europe, to United States itself. They want more money, they don't care life of ordinary people in any country. They always want to manipulate the currency of China for a long time till now.

Shouldn't a "stupid" woman have some basic human rights? -
The Strategy of CAS for Emotional Abusing Children Once a child has been interviewed at his/her school by CAS workers, the child is now treated differently by school officials. After the interview the child and his/her family are now labeled by school officials who blindly believe that CAS workers are never wrong. In too many cases, CAS workers have only one agenda – to get the children to say what the workers want. Child “protection” workers often to use tricks and other forms of deception to get children to say things against their parents, even if it is not the truth! Tragically, too many children are interviewed by Children’s Aid Society workers at schools without the knowledge or consent of parents. Accurate records of these “secret” meetings are never kept by child “protection” workers with children also being given misleading information and asked inappropriate and leading questions. Many children and parents claim that they do not trust Children’s Aid Society workers and that Children’s Aid Society workers lie in court about what the children have said. That’s why Children’s Aid Society workers refuse to audio record their meetings with children or their parents. Workers do not want any accurate record of their meetings to exist which may conflict with the lies which many Children’s Aid Society workers knowingly submit in their sworn affidavits to the courts. In fact, children and parents are often threatened by CAS workers and CAS lawyers and told that they will be punished if they attempt to accurate record meetings using video or audio recording devices! CAS workers and their lawyers are afraid of the truth being accurately recorded. This child had to make up lies to tell her friends in order to minimize the damage that CAS workers has caused by coming to this child’s school. While parents want their children to learn to tell the truth, children are put into a position where they have to lie to their friends to avoid humiliation cause by CAS workers. If children have to interview by Children’s Aid Society workers, the majority of children involved would prefer that interviews be conducted at places other than their school in order to avoid embarrassment and humiliation. Unfortunately, child “protection” workers interview children at their school deliberately as part of their strategy to label and to publicly humiliate the family. This strategy is part of the culture of abuse of power and control that exists amongst many of the Children’s Aid Society workers, most of who lack proper qualifications. Schools should not allow Children’s Aid Society workers to enter school property to interview children without a court order authorizing workers to do this. Children should feel that schools are safe place for them to go to learn and where they will be free of outside and unwanted influences, including poorly conducted interrogations by CAS workers. Every time school officials permit a child to be interviewed at their school, they are adversely affecting the psychological well being of the child and causing the child to mistrust their teachers and principals. Some kids develop a hatred of their teachers for allowing CAS workers to come to the school to interview them. Schools were built for purpose of educating our children, not for the purpose of being used as convenient locations for interrogations by over-zealous and unaccountable workers form privately owned and operated Children’s Aid Societies. “We must vigilantly stand on guard within our own borders for human rights and fundamental freedoms which are our proud heritage……we cannot take for granted the continuance and maintenance of those rights and freedoms” ---- former Prime Minister of Canada, John Diefenbaker

More than 53,500 Ontario public sector workers were paid over $100,000 last year, while the size of the provincial deficit is $21.3-billion and the unemployment rate of 8.7% is the highest it has been since 1997. Only in Hospitals and Boards of Public Health, sunshine salary list cost tax-payers more than $946 Million dollars, include several who make over $800k last year.

Slavery should not be the choice. But when a parent choose food for his kids, he dose not enslave his kids. If let the kid choose his own food, the kids may more likely to choose sweet poison than non-sweet health food. It is better make more efforts on educating both kids and their parents (like on how to teach their kids to improve their skill on making a correct choice) than force the parents not to choose food for their kids through laws, cops, jails, courts and other freedom-removing violent methods.

If you hate the father who make choice for his girl on her marriage, you should hate one take away another’s freedom. But your suggestion that such kind of behavior should not be allowed takes away some other people’s freedom at the same time. They have their culture, they have their religion. And more important, it is possible the result could be not bad although there can be bad examples when the father does that; and it is most likely the father is doing his best thinking for his daughter and take his responsibility with his best wishing and did a correct choice. I believe if you wish other’s have a better life and better future, it would be better for you to think for them from their point of view. Not just from yours. For example, in case the daughter in some countries, women get less education. In that case, their ability of making smart choice for the future of themselves could be not strong enough. In this case, when you force their parents give up their arrangement for their daughter may lead to worse situation. So, it can be a better choice to make more education efforts for both parents and their girls. This can take some time for the effect be seen but this can happen when the parents themselves will think it is better to ask their girl’s own idea. Even in Canada, if you force people not do something may lead to strong side effects, and lead to even worse social problems. Just like the States, there are so many laws, but what about the crime rate there? When people understand that you are really thinking for them and your suggestion really helps them, they will take your advice and thank you from their heart. When they think you just bully them and not respect their culture and religion, more crime will happen and all Canadians will pay that through tax.

What would you like to suggest to realize/implement those? What would you like to do if you see something not happen as your wish?

Nothing is absolute. Every existing thing has its reason. Things has its positive side and negative side. Most problems can have more than one solution. When you talk about something with no condition and no reason and no deep study and no in depth investigation, this makes others think you are speaking for an interest group, for example, for women's shelter movement. They want take more women there so that they can ask for more money from tax payers. and also courts and cops and lawyers can take more money.

Terrorists Could Use Explosives in Breast Implants to Crash Planes, Experts Warn Female homicide bombers are being fitted with exploding breast implants which are almost impossible to detect, British spies have reportedly discovered. The shocking new Al Qaeda tactic involves radical doctors inserting the explosives in women's breasts during plastic surgery — making them "virtually impossible to detect by the usual airport scanning machines." It is believed the doctors have been trained at some of Britain's leading teaching hospitals before returning to their own countries to perform the surgical procedures. ... Explosive experts allegedly told MI5 that a sachet containing as little as five ounces of PETN could blow "a considerable hole" in an airline's skin, causing it to crash. -

If the government can let some people open a small hospital there, and let people like this person work there and allow people bring medicine from abroad. it will be a cheap solution and I am sure it can solve the problem. If such kind of hospital exist in Toronto, I am sure it will make health Canada feel strongly competed and begin to improve their service.
