  1. Nah, he's just the usual forum troll.
  2. Works for us. link And a mere "82 per cent of Canadians believe our system is better than U.S. health care." Speaking of broke dick systems, seems your folks want health care reform. link
  3. I don't care if you believe or not, but don't call me a liar. It happened. I saw an opthamalogist, was admitted that day to the Calgary General and had a CAT scan the next day.
  4. You're making my point. Why have a cat scan if you don't need it. Plus I was only suspected of having a brain tumour. Luckily I didn't. The system accomodates those that require these exams, not for Joe Blow on the street wandering into a clinic just for sake of getting a scan. Most of us will gladly wait if someone needs the surgery/scan more than we do. It's kinda a Canadian thing.
  5. I call bullshit. I was suspected of having a brain tumour and was in the next day for CAT scan. You are a broken record BC and have no idea of how our system works.
  6. Then it should have been easy to parade bus loads in this commerical. She's a lone voice of dissent. Where are her supporters? And consider the network. You have to realize our system is based on triage. And yes, some people don't like to wait in line for someone else who is far sicker to get treatment first. You can trot out an extreme case of some poor dude dying while waiting in an emergency waiting room (just like I can for the states), but we're ALL covered here. If people want to jump the line for treatment in the states, I say go for it. But is our system, and we don't lose our houses over medical bills. Nuff said.
  7. You asked who "they" were and Libby was indeed part of the neferious white house gang, plus he lied about his involvement with the outing. Libby resigned all three government positions immediately after he was indicted on federal charges of obstruction and perjury resulting from the grand jury investigation into the leak of the covert identity of Central Intelligence Agency officer Valerie PlameIn his trial for his role in the Plame affair, United States v. Libby,[4][5] the jury convicted Libby on four of the five counts in the indictment: one count of obstruction of justice; two counts of perjury; and one count of making false statements to federal investigators (wikipedia)
  8. Scooter Libby for one.
  9. Actually, I think the challenges on each side will never be paid, regardless of evidence presented. Zammit is a lawyer and Randi is a con man magician. Randi uses such phrases as satisfactory observing conditions, within the agreed-upon limits and a person having media presence in his challenge, rendering it impossible especially if JR is the judge himself. I think it is really a joke on both parts.
  10. Not true. He is only asking to disprove the evidence he has gathered.
  11. The other side also has a million dollar challenge.
  12. Do you include Hutterites who do not have photo ID?
  13. I hope you're right, but don't forget the hope we all had for the demonstraters in Tiananmen square some 20 years ago.
  14. It was a freakin' joke for God's sake. I've heard far more hatred and mean spiritedness out of Rush Limpballs and Fox than from any late night comedian.
  15. Might want to mention that to Palin. Talk about over-reaction.
  16. deleted.. I'm outta here, far too much racism and angry right wing men/women. Adios.
  17. Let me rephrase - what business is it of yours or the public?
  18. How that does that affect you personally?
  19. Oh, yes Israel the peace loving nation NOT
  20. And three more: Ted Haggard, Mark Foley, Larry (" I have never been gay") Craig
  21. Pretty old poll. But even so let Harper introduce it in Parliament.
  22. Look at Moses, he committed premeditated murder - should he have gotten the death penalty?
  23. More like tolerance training, and perhaps some anger management.
  24. Are you talking about the guy that got 3 back to back majorities?
