I will speak for my job at Shell we got 3000 very angry brothers who are even working (40,000 of us) to shut down the oilsands should Harper prorogue. We demand he does his job we are not paying him t0 take a holiday or take away our constitutional rights. I advise all unions to shut down nation wide we did it last summer and we will do it again but till the new year this time.

I would consider the PM not wanting to do his job a crisis. Why do we even have a PM again? -

A senior Conservative source told Sun Media the government will ask Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean to prorogue Parliament until the new year. Seems Harpers best interest is not in the country, budget or working with parliment -
Can that coalition government last?

Long enouph for Ignatieff to rise above the squalor in Ottawa and end this crisis. He could honestly label himself "Captain Canada" the keys to 24 Sussex are dangling in front of him, just six months away. -
I would never support another Tory for sheer reason I am union! Never will I suport a SCAB ever.

What the Governor General Has to Do!

If it comes to her decision: 1) Would not be wise and acceptable to not have parliament working during the "economic crisis". 2) Sending Canadians back to the polls and having parties in campaign mode instead of "working mode" is not a wise idea during thie "economic crisis". 3) Accept the coalition gov't (regardless of right or wrong how it came to be) is probably her best decision as it provides "some stability" and working parliament to address this "economic crisis". -
But I was doing a lot of whining on Oct. 14 because the Conservatives won at least 2 dozen extra seats due to vote splitting in Quebec, B.C., and Ontario mention vote splitting in Ontario, I think the prospect of cooperation betweeh the liberals and NDP there bodes a fairly clear (negative) outcome for the Conservatives. Then again, it depends a lot on who the Liberals pick too.

the honourable thing is for Stephen to call a spade a spade. He, Flaherty, and the others made a HUGE mistake. They BLEW IT, and I'm not happy about it either. BUT-- If they want to call yet ANOTHER election, they can do it on THEIR own dime, not off the backs of tax-paying Canadians and those who have contributed in other ways to the building of this great nation. If they don't, they are showing that they are no better than any other party our there. In 18 months, if that is how long the "Coalition" survives, the Conservatives will get their opportunity again, soon enough, but by then, I don't think we'll see the party led by Mssrs. Harper OR Flaherty. What they were thinking of, who knows. It's also a good time to get rid of the deadwood in Cabinet. One problem they had that the other parties didn't have and that was talent and strong depth in lieutenants. One knows this was also due to Stephen Harper wanting to be a one-man band. Well, he got his chance and that's how the cards fall. NO MORE DELAY. Let's move on and dock ALL MPs their pay for every day they fail to show up for work !!

Who cares what Tory's thinks about anything......they should have a say in nothing!

Most common definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are intended to create fear (terror), are perpetrated for an ideological goal (as opposed to a lone attack), and deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants. Explain to me how those insiting and participating in civil war would not be a terrorist?
-
In respects allot of the BQ take the offence to being all labelled as sepratists this comes from our Leader its in the news and spread threw the forum, I think the fine line has been crossed It only seems to become a issue when a Torie is slandered so in all do respect who cares about the rules nobody is following them

the Security Agenda and the Prosperity Agenda. Initiatives under these agendas support continued, prosperous trade between the countries, while ensuring that the each nation ― and the continent as a whole ― remains secure against external threats and criminal activity. The security and prosperity of a country go hand in hand. The Emergencies Act is an Act of the Parliament of Canada to authorize the taking of special temporary measures to ensure safety and security during national emergencies and to amend other Acts in consequence thereof.

Anyone who insites civil war will be named a terrorist its in the SPP
-
I agree Blackwater would have a field day with these terrorists
