To sit back and not do his job will not boed well with hard working Canadians

I don't thinks so I think they will use the Billions that are being used to prop up the banks, you know these banks that are sound and don't need it. Since the private sector has been unwilling to borrow or invest the government will take the initiative to do so.

The problem with our system is the rivalry and how one can rule with a iron thumb, every watch kids in the hall where buddy walks around smushing people with his thumb well thats what the Tories have been doing all these years. Just because your party gets 39% of the vote should not mean everyone elses thoughts and opinioin get vitto'd in a democracy system thats why this coalition will be good everyones vote should it be Liberal,green,torie or NDP will matter. I have called my local MP a conservative and have expressed how he for the best interest of our riding to work with this coalition should it happen so he can represent our needs and get past the Rivalry. What I think will happen is we will end up with more party's with a smaller percent who will form coalition with one another who may not necisarily hold the same platfrom but will work together for the best interest of the country.

Maybe so but I know sitting on the political action comity the unions have allot of money socked away for such case. You could look at Ed's campain in Alberta we were running smear adds every 5 minutes. Now with Harpers idea to take away the right to strike this will go nation wide with the unions they will put up a fightm we don't need to donate to a party we will smear Harper on our own. I know Gil with the federation of labor is already got things in the works. This will get interesting on;y 59% of Canadians voted but people are becoming interested now from all this, people thought things were working well in government, now they see it is not they will come out and vote, and chances are not with for a leader who refuses to make things work.

He's only prolonging.... coalition has a 2 year deal so unless he can get a majority vote he will get ousted anyways. This just looks better the longer he puts the peoples needs ahead of holding power the worse it will get for him.

As much as I agree with you I see allot of angry Torie suporters in my line of work. The Petro Can upgrader has been scraped, same with the Shell expansionm BP and a whole other list. What the government in the 80's done to secure jobs they Federally funded the building of the Petro Canada refinery in Edmonton and when things turned around we sold it and made allot of money. The guys were kinda expecting the same thing some sort of stimulus. on top of taht Albertan's are Irate about the trasfer payment. I really don't think Harper has played his cards right for this province.

Would be suicide for Harper, first it would show he has lost confindence before going to vote. Second it gives time for the Libs to bring in a new leader, third it would allow a coalition to strengthen ties with Leader Obama a man the Tories smeared during his election. Unless the Tories can get a majority next election his party is doomed LOL!

I would think the underlying problem is they are not held accountable, I have been proposed before but I think about the wife and what I have to lose so have never carried through. Like most employers if the emoloyee lies or cheats they are fired on the spot, maybe we should adopt those policy's to instill honesty in our leadership after all they work for us. if you lie, cheat or are dishonest you do not deserve your position and should be FIRED!
