Trump had a different tone for Mexico's President in comparison with his tone with Justin Trudeau!

This is a really weird look for you betsy.  Trudeau is a clown and he's already resigning, but you seem to be reveling in the  Orange Baboon's useless grandstanding.  Trump doesn't even know what he wants to achieve with these Canada tariffs.  He just walked into the room and took a shit in on the table in front of everyone, just to show everyone he could.

everyone i work with thinks he is a joke.. and that's even people who hate trudeau and find  pierre  good. they still dont like trump lol

It was something like 33% of Canadians view him favorably, but that was last year.  This may be a come-to-Jesus moment for a lot of them, but the dumbest amongst them will cheerlead for the Orange Blob no matter what.

Drug trafficking and porous borders are only part of it. Allies have been screwing the US for decades - we've been coming out at the bottom with everyone except for a small handful of countries. It might be painful at first, but things will get better.

If Orange-Man says so, it's true.  It is it is it is.  Yup yup.

Surely, you don't expect us to win a tit-for-tat?  Especially when Trump already threatens to increase the tariff if Canada retaliates in any way.

There's no winning for either side.

If Trump was actually interested in policy objectives, he'd make clear demands and negotiate them rather than conjure up fantasies about the Canada-US cross-border fentanyl trade.

What he's doing here, instead, is to walk into the room and take a big shit on the table...for reasons.

Look, numbnuts, nobody is going to take you perverts seriously until you cure yourselves of the woke virus. Until you do that, the Republicans will enjoy a long and healthy run.

If by long and healthy you mean a blow out in 2 years.  The average American (the ones that don't like their own buttholes), will sour on Trump when they realize he's sending them into recession to stop the non-existent Canada-US fentanyl drug traffic.

I wonder if it would have been more strategic if Canada had announced all the tariffs for take effect in 3 weeks instead of the small amount starting this coming week .

The Orange Baboon has a simple mind and responds to simple things.  There's no reason whatsoever to slow-roll anything with him.  Phasing the tariffs in gives him an off-ramp (and I'm sure Canadian leaders would be willing to massage his ego if he asked) but also sends the signal that we're not playing games.

Canada has way more leverage than this clown pretends.  There's no doubt that the Canada depends on the US less than the other way around for trade, or that they can make Canada "lose" a trade war, but there's no winning for them either, and we can make it very painful.  We're still their biggest export market.  We can still deny them ~$100B a year on patent royalty payments we're not required to honor sans trade deal. We can impose export taxes on the things the US can't replace cheaply like oil, aluminum etc, and send them to competing markets instead.

The MAGA donkeys laugh at our threats and the disparity in economic power, but it belies a comical misunderstanding how economics work.  It's cutting off the nose to spite the face.

In my case, DUI got tired of me destroying his lies, posting links and evidence to back it up, so he ran away.

I'm not sure what you think people's motivations for outright lying would be on an anonymous internet forum, but you're not going to have good-faith debates when accusing people of deliberate deception is so often your opening move.

That hapless native woman Trudeau appointed to the SC is only 51. She'll be on the court for the next 24 years. The Muslim is 58. He's gonna be around a long while too. These two barely qualify as judges and certainly shouldn't be on the SC if Trudeau was looking for more than virtue signaling and people with his shallow ideological views.

I imagine the Trudeau looks at the United States and how the checks and balances have been eroded, and has overreacted.  As with so much of the rest of what he's done while in power, the virtue signaling IS the goal though, rather than practical positive outcomes.   I can't really disagree with anything you're saying here.

They already have, in addition to territory they've taken in Russia.

That Ukraine has not been "winning" anything.

If Russia is failing at its goals, what do you call it then?

That the Kursk invasion was doomed to fail.

What was the goal of the Kurks incursion?  Do you believe that the Ukrainians actually planned on annexing it or something?  If nothing else, it showed how weak and vulnerable Russia is.

That this will end with a peace agreement in which Russia keeps the land they've taken.

Maybe?  Probably?  Still, that's another universe from your prediction of Russia capturing Odessa, isn't it?  You prediction record is always going to be perfect if you ignore all the times you were hilariously wrong.

Oh and...Europe did have energy shortages and have now fired up some coal generators I understand. You were wrong about that one too but hey...being wrong is what you do so...ya...there's that.

There's that delusional coping again.  When you said Europe was going to freeze, what you actually meant was they were going to have to fire up coal generators?  Ooookay buddyretard.

It was not my intention to post LIE's , i have also maned up and apologize what more do you want a pound of flesh....it is more than any one on the left has given...

Openly acknowledging a mistake and apologizing for it puts you miles above a large portion of the mob, but it only counts for so much when you keep repeating it over and over.

The fact that you're posting hot-takes on links and cites you haven't even read is damning, but it's only a symptom of the problem.

There exists a universe where Justin Trudeau and his government can be acknowledged and regarded as the disaster they've obviously been without automatically believing every mis/dis-informed hot-take that shows up on your news feed.  It's not like you sit there reading CBC news all day, so we can only speculate at what led you to conclude that Justin and his gang of bozos were deciding to buy Russian oil...

  11. I can admit what I was wrong about.  I was wrong about how long the Russian donkey peasants would meekly and cheaply throw their lives away to achieve almost nothing.  2 years and hundreds of thousands of casualties, and the front lines haven't even really moved.

You, on the other hand, need to continually adjust your goalposts as you keep getting everything wrong, and comically distort reality to convince yourself that the most humiliating military failure of the last 75 years was somehow  a success.  🤡

  12. 2 minutes ago, Nationalist said:

And yet...as predicted by pretty much everyone not engaged in fantasy...Russia is winning...gaining ground daily...have surrounded and are now slaughtering those in the Kursk county...

Yes, yes, you predicted in June last year, Russia would still be trying to dislodge Ukraine from Kursk in 2025.

You predicted that "gaining ground daily" would mean losing 1000 soldiers a day or whatever so that the map of control today looks almost the exact same as it did two years ago.  Impressive!

You predicted that Trump would be saying Russia is not doing well, that its economy was failing, and that he would be threatening Putin with sanctions.

    R-ri-right!?

However...My "differnet version of reality" happens to be the one most people live in and with.

Your version of reality is a meandering river of coping, goal-post shifting and re-imagining past events.

It takes a special kind of deluded clown to conclude that Russia's original vision of victory was to see their army shattered and hobbled against an enemy 1/4 their strength, to see them isolated and have their consumer economy blown out, and for their already steep and catastrophic demographic decline accelerated all in exchange for some rubble in Ukraine's east.

The hilarity of a broken man crybabing that opposed that would take an average grade school student less than 15 seconds to read is just too long for him is freaking awesome :)

You're mistaken. When a 1-sentence quip injures your ego to the point where you deem a 200+ word tantrum rant is the most appropriate response, you're doing all the work for me.  Nothing makes you look more fragile than that, so please don't think I'm trying to stop it.  I'm encouraging it.  🙃👍
