  1. Is there anything you Harper apologists won't excuse him for?Pedophilia? Harperites: Oh Stephen Harper wasn't diddling the kid, he was showing him what us Conservatives are convinced a Liberal did once.
  2. Well at least we know what price she'll whore herself out to Harper for.$15 million to her country.... Haiti.
  3. I'd wholeheartedly support that.
  4. And unless I'm wrong, Harper's beloved Action plan Home Renovation tax credit bill will die causing all that bought into his shell game to lose whatever they thought they were going to save.
  5. She's a spineless waste of oxygen and tax payer dollars herself.I can think of a 100 good reasons to refuse the request. The only people who could defend Harper's actions are his apologists and those with their heads up their arse. We really need a good grassy knoll and book depository in this country.
  6. Even the right wing feels this is an affront to democracy. Taken from Connie Fournier's thread.
  7. It's official.Democracy in Canada is dead. Unfortunately for Canada Stephen Harper isn't. What a waste of skin.
  8. When he's been called to testify at a hearing then yes, he should know what it is he's talking about.Mundane crap? Should we all just *yawn* and say who gives a crap about that mundane stuff the next time a Canadian soldier gets killed?
  9. Which if one were to believe to be the case, makes him incredibly incompetent.Seriously, do you honestly believe he only studied the file after giving his testimony to the committee???
  10. So they say...Liars is the best word to describe them.
  11. Clearly the military is complicit in the cover-up. Either that or Hillier and Natynczyk are two of the dumbest fucks going and incredibly ignorant and incompetent.Do you really believe Natynczyk only learned about the report upon reviewing the file after appearing before the committee ?
  12. Fire him and turn him over to face charges for the international crimes he has committed. Same applies to Harper and any other member of the Conservatives or military.
  13. Senator Hillier wouldn't want to be disloyal to his master.
  14. Hmm, Peter MacKay must have a short memory if he can't recall this... Either that or he's lying....
  15. You know, when one looks back at this file over the past year or so.. the evidence adds up. PM denies getting angry call from Hillier on detainee issue Last Updated: Tuesday, January 29, 2008 | 4:09 PM ET CBC News Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Tuesday he never received an angry call from Gen. Rick Hillier, chief of Canada's defence staff, last week over the government's handling of the Afghan detainee issue. Harper was lying then, he's lying now and Hillier was ordered to comply. It's no small wonder/ coincidence the man decided to retire at an early age from the military. He likely knew the shit was going to hit the fan over the detainees being tortured, the Conservatives ordering a cover up of it and bailed ahead of it.
  16. No doubt there's more than a handful of the right wing here already frothing at mouth in hopes that they'll have that opportunity one day.Because we both know, they have no problem with torture being used as long as it's not their side being tortured.
  17. Typical Conservative pattern and practice adopted from the Republicans:Don't like the message, then we'll attempt to discredit and smear the reputation of the messenger.Unfortunately, for Harper and Mackay, they've just been caught again and reprimanded by the Speaker for spreading lies about anti-Semitism and in this case, the diplomat has a spotless career. Canadians don't take kindly to Con-artists like Mackay and Harper. Amazing how under a Liberal government the Conservatives took every word uttered by a whistle blower as gospel but now categorize anyone who tells tales of the Harper regime as traitors to the cause. This man Colvin gains nothing but stands the chance of ruining his career by stepping forward. Yet the Conservatives supporters continue to slander him. Pathetic...It's no wonder you all like to harp about the Taliban so much. You have so much in common
  18. And the last time we were invaded was?If the warmongering right wing weren't over in Afghanistan supporting the torturing of detainees, we'd have one less group to be concerned about. Bring the forces home first, let them stay on Canadian soil defending our borders as you claim they're vitally needed for, then we'll talk about necessary equipment purchases. Patrol ships and aircraft will be sufficient.
  19. As no department should. But they should start with significant cuts to the military. They should be thankful they have a job and are being kept/paid by us.
  20. Not necessarily, if they'd carpet bomb your home city/town like you'd have them do to others, I'd be okay with that.Taking out the right wing trash associated with you would be a bonus.
  21. Well one wonders just how deep the rot will be when the Conservatives find themselves buried beneath similar developing scandals such as the one that they're being quietly tied to themselves. Now the ADQ is calling the police on itself. With high-placed connections in Quebec and Ottawa, the Action democratique's woes will surely generate plenty of attention. One of those connections in Ottawa is Conservative Sen. Leo Housakos, who is described in one of his corporate bios as the ADQ's chief fundraiser from 2001 to 2008. Housakos has been a senior Conservative organizer and was president of the ADQ's fundraising commission before quitting the job in December after a debacle at the polls that saw the party reduced to seven seats. Shortly thereafter, Housakos was named a senator by the prime minister.
  22. Your inflated estimate of the Conservative's hold on power speaks volumes of just how tenuous their grip is.One good scandal will be enough to send them packing.
  23. Conservatives idea of how to investigate their own when caught in a scandal = sweep sweep under the rug, nothing to see here. We've already seen evidence of this here with the 18 month cover up.
  24. Very very true Topaz and that in a nutshell is why the Conservatives on here are so quick to disparage and discredit Colvin's testimony. They're deathly afraid of losing their tenuous grip of power. Stephen Harper and his fellow Cons watching from a jail cell..now there's some hard time and justice reform that I'd love to see happen.
  25. It also begs the question of why are the Conservatives so quick to shoot down the calls for a public enquiry. What are they afraid of if they've done nothing wrong or have nothing to hide..
