  1. Apparently Nicky doesn't know the difference between hate speech laws and the HRC. Too funny!
  2. Having read this thread top to bottom Morris I have not seen where Nicky has provided proof of his/her opinion that Steyn is for unmitigated free speech, just insinuation. Morris you are so in the right. Loved it when you proved Nicky a liar when he/she had to concede that he/she never sat on the bod of the U of T.
  3. In our system you are innocent until proven guilty meaning, if you make the accusation it is up to you to provide the proof the your assertation is true. This works the same in debates, if you are going to assert a statement or idea you better have the proof to back it up otherwise it is a baseless accusation, and you look like a fool. Right Morris?
  4. Morse do you ever get the feeling you are arguing with something as thick and dense as a brick?
  5. The economy was excuse to ram through the obama agenda....no emergency...I mean opportunity will be wasted. unless obama can restaff his inner circle like clinton did in the nineties with something he is done....but he just well may be done anyway, ramming very unpopular legislation through, tisk tisk. We will see just how long the political memory of American really is.
  6. So Canadians aren't qualified to decide what is right and wrong? We need some elite to do it for us? This is about more then some interpretation in our justice oops I mean legal system. My god what would you do if you actually had to make a decision, your head would would explode. Good thing we have a "benevolent" government to tell us how to act and think!
  7. Funny they waited until after the judges decision.
  8. And yet all three parties are scrambling to suggest changes to the criminal code to make sure this doesn't happen again. It wasn't about what the judge was going to decide, it was about what is right, and in this case the judge's decision was in accordance with that. The scurrying of the politicians is proof of that.
  9. Go back to the animal farm.
  10. Just like oil too right? Bloody socialists.
  11. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/feds-move-to-protect-citizen-thief-catchers/article1782965/ Hah all the dolts on this board siding with the bloody criminal, give your heads a collective shake. You are the problem siding with the criminal rather then the victim. At least this judge got it right. I AM LOVING THIS, I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. You do realize that there is already massive american ownership in the potash mines now right?
  13. Why ask a rhetoric question, liberal, 20 something, it goes without saying.
  14. so what what modern strike fighter would you buy that has been under development since the 90's or under development now would you buy?
  15. Trust you for reliable info on aircraft? Nope I'll go with the renowned authority, rather then internet forums.
  16. So by that logic why did we ever upgrade from the ARMSTRONG-WHITWORTH SISKIN? http://rcaf.com/Aircraft/aircraftDetail.php?SISKIN-6
  17. You need to take that up with Janes they list it as fifth generation. http://www.janes.com/articles/Janes-All-the-Worlds-Aircraft/Sukhoi-T-50-PAKFA-Russian-Federation.html Not knowing you and having a long history of reading janes, I'll take their research on the subject.
  18. Super Hornet (another 35- 40ish year old airframe) 60 mil per unit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_F/A-18E/F_Super_Hornet f-15k - 100 mill http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonnell_Douglas_F-15E_Strike_Eagle Eurofighter 63 mill euro http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurofighter_Typhoon Mitsubishi F-2A (souped up f-16) 127 mill http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_F-2 yep our x-35 sure looks price against these 35-40 year old airframes! The x-35 unit cost (aircraft only no extras) about 100mil http://www2.macleans.ca/2010/10/26/the-auditor-generals-report/ The price of the f-35 sounds pretty good to me considering it is brand new technology, when you compare it to what it's preprocessors still in production cost.
  19. Our F-18's are fast approaching the end of their service life, they need to be replaced.
  20. Apparently the liberals have no idea of how Google works. There are three aircraft that fifth generation, the F-22, T-50, and the F-35, of these three only one is available to us for purchase.
  21. BOMBARDIER HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  22. What part of investing in the developmental program before the winning of the competition was chosen do you not understand? We put money in in 1997 the winner of the contract was selected in 2001. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_Strike_Fighter_Program As for Canadian competition, educate me, who in Canada is capable of developing and building 5th generation strike fighter aircraft? We did however get to compete to build pieces of the aircraft, and have investment monies spend in development of this aircraft in Canada. Or would you rather buy something that didn't have any of its development take place in Canada, and contribute nothing to our economy/industry. http://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/ad-ad.nsf/eng/ad03941.html
  23. I guess i will have to bold it and post it for the infantile moronic "educated" liberal posters who seem to be illitrate, and unable to comprehend the following second paragraph in the artical. Hell its even on wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_Strike_Fighter_Program Wow look we were part of the competition process having originally signed on to the competition/development program in 1997. Gasp it was a liberal government signing on to the development program! Considering you were probably only 9 or 10 at the time its no wonder you know nothing of the competition process or how Canada was involved then.
