  1. Yeah, that's the kind of attitude that makes this country great; and also lead's to persecution of those that disagree with the majority. That's the stupidest thing I've heard in a long time.
  2. It brought the homophobes out in the open. What can ya do? I would say "homophobes" like me are already in the open. Why would I want to hide my distaste for bumbuggery and the mockery women-men make of masculinity. I'd say the folks it brought into the open are the males who are so confused about their own sexuality that they view bare chested men as somehow "homoerotic". But whatever...it's not surprising that there are remnants who think it's in vogue to "embrace" their feminine side, after being fed such tommyrot for decades. Besides, it leaves the real women for real men.
  3. As evidenced by this board and countless others across the internet, many people in the west ARE easily misled, and in fact wilfully misled. Many on the left WANT to believe the worse of their own country, and the best of the enemy. It vindicates their own hatred of their own society.
  4. This speaks more to the Balkanization effect of muliculturalism than to a democratic deficit in the Liberal Party. The autocratic tendencies of the Liberal Party are well known, from the "natural governing party" meme (which broke out into a debate about "single party rule" in Canada just before the Libs were trounced) to the attempts at social engineering by appointment of candidates, but when ethnic groups openly band together to demand political power...THAT's a scary herald of things to come.
  5. It is often denied nonetheless. Unfortunately it's a growing part of Islam, and it's growing fastest in the west. Particularly Europe; parts of which are teetering on the edge of civil war because of it. Which part? Here's some remedial readuing. Fjordman is a well known writer on the topic. His english is a bit stinted, being an academic and a European an' all, but he's on top of it: http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/2006/03/...nst-swedes.html http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/2006/05/...rk-side-of.html Hold on...swedish society is on the brink of collapse and civil war, but Iraq ain't? The metrics must be extremely fluid...... Lets see, if 12% of iraq was foriegn born, preferably lutheran, perhaps they too would be on the verge of civil war? Sorry, didn't find the opinion credible Then follow the primary source material in it. That speaks for itself.
  6. Now all we need is a Democratic administration, and we can turn back the clock completely. Where's Cotta when ya need him? Maybe we should awake him from his senile slumbers to do some negotiating for us.
  7. They will have us all in their computers and when someone rich needs an organ they will get their nearest match and arrest them for something. Then you become an organ donor to get a shortened sentence or suffer the death penalty for what you did - dep on which organ is needed. You truly are off the wall, aren't you? Certifiable.
  8. Actually, in India toilets are rarely used, and toilet paper is never used. The great outdoors is far easier and modesty really isn't an issue, and water and the left hand is used for toilet paper. In the 60s, if folks had to travel from one vollage to the next, their bicycle would have a transistor radio on the back if they were "middle class", but always, without exception, there would be a brass pot of water (I can't remember what it's called) sitting on the mousetrap behind the rider. I don't imagine that things are any different now, except that transistor radios have given way to MP3s...
  9. Shouldn't you be in school ? I daresay, son, that school would do you a world of good.
  10. So speaketh the folly of time... Do you have any actual rebuttal to the articles, or are they outside your talking points handout?
  11. That will trigger an escalation even Iran probably doesn't want. Mind you, the 12th Imam is waiting in the wings, so who knows?
  12. It's Gawdawful if your emissions are a bit loose. Worse if your knee tends to give out. Nightmarish if you're loose and your knee tends to give out and you were expecting to find toilet paper when you finish.
  13. You may think so but you would be wrong. Here, no phone call is needed to get treatment , any treatment, there not only must you call, if it is even remotely serious, you may not be covered. That's just not true. You need a doctors referral to a specialist, and whereas in the US, that specialist would see you in days, here it takes months for some. I was just =referred to an ear, nose and throat specialist, and the wait time is 6 months. Last August I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon for a sports injury. I'm still waiting.
  14. This is surely a joke. They don't have sit-down toilets? No. http://images.google.ca/images?hl=en&q=asi...m=1&sa=N&tab=wi
  15. I'm having a hard time figuring out how a tax break is the same as a tax expenditure. Allowing people to keep more of their money is the same as taking it away and spending it on things out of their control? How exactly does that work? Logically, I mean...not in Liberal Lalaland.
  16. Would they be more thoughtful if the had sit down toilets? That's really a good question, you know. In all seriousness. Countless excellent ideas have originated whilst the author is sitting and shitt.., errr, on the toilet. Asia missed out entirely on the toilet time alotted to thinking and stink... about earthshattering matters while conducting earshatterin...ok, I have to stop now...
  17. Well, break out tinfoil. Fire up the ovens! Git them Kikes! Not only did they kill Kenny, but then they made the towers fall down.
  18. Let us not forget that the Arabs had years to fulfill the "aspirations" of the Palestinians for a "Palestinian homeland" long before the "Zionists" took over. Let's also not forget that there's nothing stopping Jordan making one today if they so desire.
  19. Yes, I do. In fact it was offered. Link Please?
  20. Y'know, if you want to whine about a coverup, that's one thing. But one of the most disgusting sights I've seen is pathetic armchair generals who wouldn't know one end of a machine gun from the other pontificating about friendly fire incidents. You've probably never been within 1000 miles of a firefight or unfriendly territory, and I'll hazard a guess you don't ever intend to be. You have absolutely no business even pretending to know what it's like to be in a freefire zone in hostile territory, much less scoffingly dissing the actions of soldiers who saw what they thought was the enemy. Gawd, that burns me.
  21. Woody is Guthrie's name on another BB.
  22. Ya gotta love this kind of hysterical hyperbole. No wonder the Church of Global Warming is falling apart.
  23. CB: Once again your complete failure to even try to understand what I'm saying, and your obvious need to nitpick instead are the reasons I suggested we go our seperate ways. "Diplomacy" doesn't work in a back alley with a mugger, if the mugger wants your money more than your goodwill. Radical Islam doesn't want peace. Radical Islam wants a global Caliphate. It says so all the time. Why do you have such a hard time hearing that? Ask yourself this: if Israel evaporated tomorrow, do you think there would be no more killings and riotings over cartoons of Mohammed? Do you think CAIR and CAIR-Can would stop agitating for Sharia in the west? Do you think madrassas the world over would stop teaching that Jews are pigs? Do you think we'd all join hands and sing Kumbaya? Let me remind you that long before Iraq, and long before Afghanistan, radical Islam was blowing the crap out of US embassies across the world.
  24. Ah, but according to the Law of Lefty Counterexample, one single counterexample negates everything. If an abortion clinic was bombed once by some fringe Christian anti-abortion group, obviously this entirely negates 1000s of daily killings, beheadings and riotings on a global scale by Islam. So here it is! The Charge of the Light Brigade! The British were driven to desperation by the Russians brutally defending Sevas....no wait...they were driven to desperation because they were fighting the occupiers of their....no wait...the brutal Russian winter...no...the damned Turks made them do i...
