  1. Almost all roads are the responsibility of cities and the provinces as is the delivery of healthcare by the Provinces. That's why we pay local taxes and Provincial taxes. Surely you have a better understanding roles and responsibilities than your constant whining indicates?
  2. More likely - time to seriously consider your alternatives. 75% of Canadians don't want the Liberals. 67% don't want the NDP. 67% don't want the Conservatives. In just about every modern election except for the Mulroney years, 60% of Canadians didn't vote for the winning party.....yet we still seem to do pretty well.
  3. No - it doesn't. Sometimes it's nice - but no, it doesn't. And if you don't like the mandate that the people give the government - you always have an opportunity to "throw the bums out" the next time around. You can say this about Harper - just about everything he has done - that was within his control - are things that we knew he was going to do. No hidden agenda - everything on the table. You might not like some of it - or any of it - but there have been very few, if any surprises.
  4. Did you not read Argus's post? Del Mastro was never a Cabinet Minister - or didn't you know that?
  5. Those are weasel words - nothing more. What substantive changes do you - or the NDP or Liberals have in mind? Surely if this is such a huge concern....surely you've identified some of the problems and potential fixes - other than....more "consultation" or more money? C'mon Waldo - step up and contribute something of substance.
  6. Yet you have failed miserably to articulate what that role should be.....or step up and answer the question that was posed to you.....what will the NDP, Liberals or NDP/Liberals do differently other than the usual babble that "they'll consult with the Provinces and stakeholders". What's your/their big reform? Step up Waldo!
  7. That would be good news for the Liberals.....Lord knows they could use some.
  8. Yes it is inane.....when Healthcare is a major component of why you want to throw the bums out - and your premise is that the Federal government should be the ones to undertake Health Care reform - you'd better examine what the other guys propose to do! We know what Harper's approach is - here's the money - now get on with your responsibility of delivering Healthcare services - use money wisely, make improvements, measure progress, learn best practices from your provincial counterparts. So......as has been asked of you twice and you've refused to answer......what is the NDP or Liberal (or NDP/Liberal) plans for Healthcare reform?
  9. Sounds like you believe your George Carlin tag-line.
  10. Posed the same question to OGFT......got crickets. Waldo's up to his usual tricks - never answering questions - then posing his own inane ones - and demanding answers.
  11. More bluster. To the vast majority of Canadians whose only contact with Engage Canada is a TV, Newspaper or Internet ad - they would have no idea how self-serving their propaganda is. But of course you already know that......but continue to ramble on....and on.....and on.
  12. The point was made that Engage Canada makes it appear that it's all about "concerned citizens".......but you knew that of course, and chose to ramble on with nonsense anyway....first asking for a cite - and now saying that everybody knows. Glad to see you finally admitting to the Liberal/NDP/Union involvement.
  13. Waldo - c'mon man - you can't be serious.......consider yourself enlightened. Link: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/unions-centre-left-interests-to-begin-ad-campaign-attacking-harpers-tories/article24924913/
  14. ....and here's a thought for you.....it doesn't matter that there is no official affiliation between the Provincial and Federal Liberals.....and I never said there was. What matters is how the public views the relationship between Wynne (a Liberal) and Trudeau (a Liberal) - and as I've shown - that relationship is very, very close. As I said - if you think it's of no concern for the Liberals - good for you.
  15. Another poor diversion - Patrick Brown - a leader nobody knows about yet - and hasn't even made an appearance at Queen's Park.....and yet the Provincial Tories are still ahead of Wynne. Hey - if you think Justin Trudeau's tight relationship with Kathleen Wynne is an advantage - good for you - and good luck with that! My opinion is to the contrary.
  16. Very poor diversion. No - I'm saying when you expose so much political capital into continually supporting an Ontario Liberal government and leader that has so under-performed (to put it extremely mildly), people rightly draw a link between Trudeau and Wynne - and as I said - she's an anchor around his neck....I won't bother cluttering up the board with pictures. This link says it all....... https://www.google.ca/search?q=picture+of+wynne+and+trudeau&biw=1237&bih=584&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CBwQsARqFQoTCPz9qreZ_sYCFUMSkgodjioPfw#imgrc=_
  17. As has been mentioned before - the Tories keep attacking the Liberals because they are the easiest party from which to shake loose some votes......and Ontario is fertile territory for the Tories to maintain their dominance. Kathleen Wynne will act as an anchor around Trudeau's neck. Because of their perceived ultra-close relationship - their parties are viewed as Kissin' Cousins......and nothing good can come of that. How close are they? Have a look: https://www.google.ca/search?q=picture+of+wynne+and+trudeau&biw=1237&bih=584&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CBwQsARqFQoTCPz9qreZ_sYCFUMSkgodjioPfw
  18. Any policy planks from your Dear Leader - Justin Trudeau? Will he be throwing even more money at Healthcare? Can you offer anything but misguided frustration at the failure of your own party? Anything constructive to say> Anything at all?
  19. It's actually pretty accurate. Another "truth ad".......and yes - that also goes for Liberal majority governments.
  20. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is......insanity. Flogging that dead horse (it really is dead you know - expired, terminated, deceased) will not change anything.....unless your Wonder Boy Justin has other ideas.....care to elaborate on any such policy planks?
  21. Took a month for you to come up with that pipsqueak response?
  22. If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck......... Link: https://www.google.ca/search?q=picture+of+wynne+and+trudeau&biw=1237&bih=584&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CBwQsARqFQoTCPz9qreZ_sYCFUMSkgodjioPfw
  23. It's confirmed - another gaffe.....a huge one...... Link: http://news.nationalpost.com/full-comment/national-post-view-eve-adams-raises-the-question-of-leadership
  24. This thread has deteriorated from the original topic of the self-destructing Liberals joining with the NDP in a formal or not so formal coalition - and the advantages therein. Instead, the usual suspects have gone on their comical, indecipherable anti-Harper rants. Too funny.
  25. Then I take it back - it still hasn't sunk in. The old program ended - as Martin planned. You can't "cut" a program that doesn't exist......nor can a minimum 3% year-over-year increase be viewed as a "cut" no matter how your anti-Harper rhetoric tries to so ineloquently spin it. A new program is now in place - and it's permanent.
