Had the cop done his job the way he was trained (or ought to have been trained) he would never had pulled his gun in the first place. The law is clear, you do not shoot an unarmed person running away except in extreme circumstances.

Well I guess they should have called you and you could have adjudicated this over the phone and save the courts the money. But generally, when the crown is brought the evidence, they weigh it, they review it, they make a call on whether a conviction or not can be had. If not, they decline charges. I, unlike you, would rather this get heard, and if its allhogwash (we know it isnt ) then the right sentence or none will come of it. Any time a report is in the papers, the min and the max is given. Some people with an agenda like to mock the simple facts about the case, like laughing at the possible max sentence. Glad to see you are off the Canada doesnt have consecutive sentence junk.
