From my perspective the word "honesty" or any derivative is incongruent with a lawyer. "In my opinion....", or "In my persective...." would be more appropriate since both leave the door open on error.
-
Unfortunately because the system is so full of people who do cloud the truth, my first reaction to a lawyer that says "I can honestly say...." is to not trust anything else that comes out of his mouth. A prejudice I have to deal with, yes, but I can honestly say more realistic than naught......

Gary McHale Assaults a Six Nations Woman
Posit replied to Posit's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Ya right. The police charge the perpetrators out here too. Only there have been no laws broken by Six Nations and many by McHale and crew. Both the bridge and the road are on Six Nations land. The bridge was operated by some obscure little railway company that let it run down in disrepair. There was a debate on whether to restore it or tear it down. Guess which one won out? McHale will be charged because he is a criminal. And guys like you would be charged for the same idiocy. -

Wot? You would act like a thug Geofray? I hear the sheep run from Albertan men, is that true? BTW Charges are pending against McHale. A cop friend says that they will be charging him with assault and are considering an incitement to riot charge...once they have reviewed all the tapes. -
The multicultural movement is nothing but a red herring invented by the right wing to ensure WASP control and power in society. By creating a multicultural label they can reduce ALL collective but individual minorities in to one big melting pot. When they provide one service or benefit for any individual, they can use the multicultural label to imply that they have dealt fairly with all minorities. It is a ruse and an obstacle to full equality, which cannot be equal unless and until there is full equity granted. Are you ~white~? And what does it matter? Are you marking your ~white~ territory as if it makes you a member of an exclusive club? However, it matters not what colour your skin is but where your thoughts and ideas that you present come from. That makes you whomever you define yourself to be, and under what conditions you will accept and be accepted. Nothing else matters...unless of course you belong to one of those right wing white supremacists groups trying to advance the right to remain ignorant....like a few that like to troll here....

Boycott Catholic, Anglican, United churches

The Official Catholic Church policy was to whisk away the perpetrators and give then a new church some miles from the on they were accused at. There was no investigation, no punishment and no discommunication. There were even a quite a few instances where the priest shared the boys and girls they molested. The Church not only knew of thes abuses but refused to cooperate with the police when the accused came forward. Yeh, just lie the Liberal Adscam, abuse was a Church policy. -

Only if the Inuit had a penchant for cannibalism and it was protected by their religious orders...... The Priests have had a long history of sexual abuse and homosexuality, among other social diseases AND the perpetrators have been persistently protected by the Church. Does that make all Priests paedophiles? No. But it certainly indicates it was tolerated and protected as an entitlement within the Church. -

Perhaps, then you would like to tell the room how a Priest with his finger down a 8 year old's pants is an appropriate "secular" education? -

Why? Are you recruiting for the KKK? Why would I hate myself? I follow the teachings of Christ in the manner there were given to us and abhor the corruption by the Church. Blacks? Asians? I'm not sure who you are talking about. -

Christianity corrupts, absolutely. It serves a purpose for those who cannot think for themselves and is nothing more than a business and a borderline cult.... -

Gary McHale Assaults a Six Nations Woman
Posit replied to Posit's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
McHale is a professional racist agitator. He has a website where he boasts about being for hire to target native land claims. Other videos on numberswatchdog.com paint the same picture. Mchale tried to "kick the dog" again today and unfortunately for him the big dog bit back. It isn't like he hasn't been warned, and racists often have their comeuppance in the most expected ways. Do you support McHale kengs333? Are you one of his Nazi-loving supporters by chance? -
Are you trolling too?

Gary McHale Assaults a Six Nations Woman
Posit replied to Posit's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
It isn't false at all. McHale assaulted a Six Nations woman and some native guys took care of it. I guess he didn't realize that Six Nations hold their women in high esteem CHCH TV reported that McHale is in hospital with a broken rib. BTW. He ran away from the crowd and left his own wife in the midst of the conflict. What a man, eh? -
Your opinion is irrelevent. Get a real job.

Those still aren't feelings...they are thoughts masked in "I feel" statements. It proves that you are incapable of understanding the difference.
-
I didn't ask you what YOU ~think~. I asked what YOU ~feel~. There is a big difference and if you aren't capable of expressing those feelings then perhaps you should find another place to troll....

Since you are coming from a xenophobic perception, you should realize that your "real world" evidence is tainted. I am close to some very personal friends who are Mohawk both from Six Nations, Wahta, Akwesasne and Tyendinaga, as well as numerous colleagues from Anishanabec and Algonquin Nations. None of them or the territories they come from exhibit any of the poor judgment you account them for. Like all societies there are those who struggle with social diseases, but none of them deserve the sweeping generalizations you identify with. On the contrary, if there are problems in a community they tend to be instigated by the imposition of our colonial band system and contradictory societal norms we expect.

That's the same kind of argument launched by the Nazis in defending their ill treatment of captives...."We were just following orders, Sir...."

There is no doubt in my mind that both kengs333 and Riverwind are holocaust deniers too! At least I know where kengs333 inherited that from...... Say kengs333 was your grand-daddy stationed at Auschwitz? -

Residential schools operated between about 1870 something to 1990 and hundreds of thousands of children passed through them. The rate of death even if at 1% could be as high as 100,000 children. Yet if it was deliberate then it doesn't matter it one died, it confirms it was intentional genocide. I'm curious why you would want to downplay and dismiss the mass murder of children... Did your family participate in the murders? One would think that even if you disagreed with the actual numbers, your concern would be towards asking the same questions raised here: "Why did so many children not come home from residential schools, and where are they now?"
