  1. Yah, I know all about Elton John, he's a good guy. It's ok he doesn't like Christians who believe in a relationship with God, he just made a piont I agreed with. And your right about the Jews, I mean they were God's people and Judiasm was the faith to God. But over time, and more specifically, the 400 years between the old and new testement, the Jews turned thier faith and relationship with thier God into a religion. And instead of the temple being a meeting place with God and other believers alike, it became a place of blindless tradition and worse, a place of profit and business. Which is exactly what God didn't want, and is why he sent Jesus. And August1991, how did you know??
  2. Applause for piercj2! Your on the money, and have a air tight grasp on the issue. I haven't read the entire thread, but I understand what piercj2 is saying, and it's completely true. The basis for the mindset of humanity is pleasure. To be comfortable in all aspects is our innate goal in life. And what's the ultimate pleasure? Most people would argue that it's sex. So everything we do and strive towards, for the most part is pleasure for ourselves, our mates and our children to find good mates and ultimitally provide them pleasure as well from thier mates. As a society we are failing at that. And so, results in a depressed, unhappy society overall and the downfall of moral standards. People use the word equality as an excuse for a man to act feminine, or woman to act masculine. But just because we should be equal in our opportunities doesn't mean we should be equal literally. As a straight man, I wouldn't be attracted to a woman who were like men in every aspect. It's natural for a man to want a feminine woman, and that means more than just to know that she has a uterus under her physical shell. And I think there are just some things that men and woman don't and shouldn't have equal opportunities to in order to preserve their gender qualities and characteristics. Open your mind, because there is nothing wrong with being different, which is what we are told and bombarded with everyday in our modern society. And instead of striving to be like one another to be accepted in a place we don't belong, men be men, and woman be woman! It's time we start practicing and embracing our diversities.
  3. I don't trust anyone born after the beatles disbanded....... Yah! Beatles Rock! I'm 19, but I wish I was 60, so I could have grown up in the 60's and witness all that amazing 60's stuff, like Beatles, Hippy's, free love...I thought I could find the 60's at a Bob Dylan concert I was at last week, but the world even modernized him! Modern times are depressing...I envy you
  4. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes!
  5. I don't know what's wrong with you people, if you put up walls in your minds to block out what JerrySeinfeld is saying, or why you can't understand him. I've seen the movie, and it's hilariously clear that Cohen is mocking our society and our level of tolerance.
  6. On top of being a very talented musician, he was a smart man. It's true what he's saying, because religion was never meant to be in the first place. Religion itself is a distortion of true faith. Just read all the way back in Genesis, God didn't form a religion for Adam and Eve, but he formed a relationship. Same as when he formed a faith with Moses and the Israelites. He did make rules but were mainly formed to protect the Israelites. And if you read Exodus all the way through, you see he says, "Love your nieghbor", over and over again. Because God understood that if a human being can love another human being who is not perfect, under the worst of cirmcumstances, he would be able to love God, who is perfect. It was about the feeling and faith. Then the Jews distorted the faith and built thier faith with brick walls and made it a religion. Then Jesus Christ himself, came down to tell everyone to change thier mind, and keep the faith, not the religion. But of course it happened again and the Catholic church was formed as a religion, which was the very thing Christ came to abolish. So there you have it, Even God doesn't like religion.
  7. Taxation in general is not wrong, but income tax is literally a crime. If you read carefully, the Internal Revenue Code clearly states that income tax, at least in the US, is of volentary compliance. Which clearly means, it's your choice to file a tax return and pay any income tax at all. That's clearly not what the IRS is practicing as they seize your house and all of your assets. Which of course is also illegal, as no where in the Internal Revenue Code or the constitution is that legal. Also it's imortant to mention that the IRC(Internal Revenue Code) doesn't even define it's own use of the word "income". So we take the definition from it's superior legal source, The Constitution. And we discover that a person trading his time and labour for wages doesn't even fall under the category of income tax! For the original definition of "income" is gains or profits from corporate activity, were as the common man being taxed on his labour and wages, isn't even applicable to pay income tax. But all of that is irrelevant as the tax itself is illegal! According to the constituion, all direct taxes must be apportioned, which means ALL tax returns must be distributed back evenly. So a poor shmuck would get the exact same cheque as the rich shmuck in tax returns. That is also not how the IRS is practicing, which makes their whole system illegal. To make matters clearer, in the early 20th century, the banks tried to inforce income tax on the working man, but was regected by the supreme court, which resulted in the 16th amendmant which states that NO new power for the banks or anyone to collect income tax was granted. "There is no constitutional basis for tax on the wages of American living and working in all the 50 states of United States, period! End of argument." - Petter Gibbons, Tax Attorney
  8. With comments like these, he's no religious teacher or faithful muslim, or any moral speaker....he's an idiot. Just like if you saw some crazy guy screaming a bunch of stuff about religion in the street, does he have any credibility? Now I guess the biggest problem on this issue is not what he said, but the fact that he's teaching it...but is it of any surprise to anyone? He's like the rest of the thousands, is not millions of muslim fundamentalist who've been put into power, and have corrupted it's society's and muslim religion beyond repair. Listening to any afternoon radio station on this issue, and you get muslims themselves calling in, defending this Sheikh Taj Din Al guy! It's amazing how much they can deny that they're wrong.
  9. I just wanted to say that this quote is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If your implying that God himself should come down here to fix everything, then it's assumed that you believe he's real. If that's the case, then you're forgetting that God himself did come down to earth to fix our problems, multiple times, but we keep distorting and simply ignoring his teachings and laws. Like in the Old Testament, God himself walked through the garden of Eden to talk to Adam and Eve, and told them the one and only rule, not to eat the fruit. A couple thousand years later, God came down to Moses in spiritual form on the Mountain, and gave him the ten commandments and laws that should be followed. Over time, his laws became distorted. So he came one more time, and this time in physical human form to straighten us out one more time with his new teachings and the creation of the new testament. So...the bible is here...the laws are here...we just keep ignoring them and distorting them. What more can he do? Except come down again...one more time, which he said he would. So I guess you can wait for the next time around, but that just might be too late. We know he came before many times, and we know he straightened it out before...so what are we waiting for the follow him?
