Actually it is an absolutely stellar idea - HRC should never have come into existence - an expensive kangaroo court Borg

Language in the PS: I've struck a nerve ...
Borg replied to Leafless's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
An easy answer - Nope. Borg -
If there was - how do you know this person even applied? Even if this person did apply - why should he / she go to the top of the pile? Lots of places to find jobs - you believe the company should actively recruit "others"? I do not - it is an expensive process. Affirmative action? Reverse discrimination? Competition for jobs is fierce and sometimes qualifications is not the deciding factor - team building, personality and ability to get along are three other reasons. People get hired and or not hired for a hell of a pile of reasons - colour is low on the list to the point of not being on the radar - all you have to do is look around - and those who bitch about it do so if only to further their own causes. Do not get the job - cry racism - that really makes the rest of the world love you more - not! Walk in to an office for an interview - the person forms an opinion of you within a few minutes. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose - that is the way it is. Lots of white folks - they are also a people of colour - do not get the jobs either - and the reasons are various - so quite your whining folks. Even California dropped affirmative action. Borg

Harper has the reputation of 'Mr. Mean'
Borg replied to jdobbin's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Mulroney? Bah! A has been. Who cares about him. You may not like Harper - but as I stated - have to give him credit - kept the country and the party together while in a minority role. The options? A transplanted American. A left win loony. Or a party designed to divide the country - and representing one province - kebec - while sitting in a national parliamentary house. That in itself is a joke. Why don't you run? Maybe you can do a better job. Borg -
That is the pot calling the kettle black - you are so rabid in your convictions you are blind to the past. Borg

It is a dirty game - one that the chretien and martin teams did well at. In fact excelled at - nice to see some turn about. Be that as it may - I ask again: Is there anything in these ads that is not truthful? If there is - or they have been falsified to mislead - then perhaps they could be considered an attack. If there was anything not truthful - I am certain the libs would be in the courts and the ads would be pulled Now - how many people in Canada do not know about this transplanted American? I would venture many - from young to old - simply because of the standard Canadian apathy. If they encourage discussion then I am all for them. You do not have to like it - the truth may hurt - but it is the truth. Cannot take the heat? Get out of the kitchen. Borg

Harper has the reputation of 'Mr. Mean'
Borg replied to jdobbin's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Well if we are lucky the time will come when he does not need votes from kebec. Until that time arrives, the option of a transplanted American heading up the libs - or the NDP - or that party designed to tear Canada into pieces (and supported by many in that province) are all poor choices for Canada in the long run. For a minority government - like him or not - he has kept it together far better than many expected - have to give him credit where credit is due. And to the best of our knowledge he is not "stealing" tax money and hiding it in various government operations like the previous ruling party did. Borg -
"Guys"? What about the female - provided it was not forced, she laid in that bed as well. Sorry - the women get the soft part of this responsibility in my opinion. If it is not at least a two way street there is no fairness. And I give a damn who carries the baby to term. Woman wants to kill the baby and the man does not - carry it and give it to him - his responsibility. Woman wants to carry the baby to term and keep it - and the man does not - she keeps it - on her own. Two decide to have a baby - best routine in my opinion - then the "team" of husband and wife - through marriage or whatever arrangement - raise the kid. No bull schitte about the woman and the womb - simply a feminazi way to force the guy to pay. Borg

Is there anything in these ads that is not truthful? If not - then I am not one to call them attack ads. In fact they are informations ads. As my neighbour told me this morning - he calls them "truth" ads. If the truth hurts - then so be it. Borg
-
Yup - we are moving to black shirts and Jack Boots. If the HRC was at least a bit better than a one way ticket to the insane asylum it might stand a chance of survival. It needs to go. Borg

No envy I assure you - being a man beats being a woman - hands down. Fair? My wallet cares. Borg

Your opinion - why is yours better than others? Borg

What makes you think their moral education is lacking compared to yours? Borg

And why would that be? Borg

Interesting. I received a setlement announcement of about $750K I wonder how they decided I should get that much? Bet the shipping fee is more than a thousand bucks. Too rich for my blood - I suppose I will have to let the money go back to the group - so others can benefit. Do not spend it all in one place Kimmy. LOL! Borg

'Stunning' number of MPs lack experience
Borg replied to Leafless's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Some of what you say may very well be true - fortunately though - through hard WORK and perserverence - most of us enjoy a fairly decent lifestyle that also allows us to support YOU. Shipping us back might very well put you back in a mosquito infested tent with a 30 year life span. Can't have that now, can we? Have a great day, Borg -
Hmm .... you called them Frogs - not me. And you might be surprised at my family back ground. And that is a very slim majority - so I am not alone - even though you do not like it. Smallc castigates me in one post and immediately in the next post he verifies what I stated. That is what is so great about you guys - you are idiots - so locked in your own special worlds that you do not realize how many people in Canada agree with me. That is where you should be focusing your attentions - why do they agree with me? Perhaps they are tired of the cultural experiments and no longer have faith in the multi-culture experiment brought into Canada by that damned trudeau (piss on his grave stone) and his damned lib party. This will never go away until those issues are addressed - and you do not - you simply pussy foot around them with limp dicks. I will ask the question again - Why is it a large number of Canadians are against immigration from third world countries? Here is one possible answer - "Real or perceived - and perception is often reality - the immigrant does not become Canadian at heart - instead they bring baggage and do their damndest to make the Canada we know into what they just left. You might try the answer on for size - or create a new one. Do not like the response? Perhaps it is the type of response the average Canadian needs - it is a tougher world out there today and it is not going to get better. Borg

What kind of criteria should immigrants meet?
Borg replied to Machjo's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Why would you be shocked. To date many of the minorities we have brought in are becoming anything but welcome - gangs, drugs, and much more - much of it coming from the imported trouble that we are now afraid to deport. We can we not deal with them because they do not care about our laws - they make their own - and in some cases want us to change to their legal syatem. What is it now - something like 40,000 people ordered deported from Canada and they cannot even be found? Seems you lead a rather protected / sheltered life - why would anyone want that type of person in this country? All brought to you in the name of cultural diversity - thanks to the damned liberals and their supporters - something that many here support. Hell, many who immigrate will not support cultural diversity - and you will tell me I am the racist. One does not have to be white to be a racist. Import trouble and you will have a poor country. Import people who want to be Canadian and you will have a country. Borg -
Interesting and accurate - but it will get you villified here amoung the lefties. Rather than realize the accuracy in your statement people will attack you. As I stated before - there are many in Canada who do not support immigration from third world countries for a reason - but to say so only brings on a personal attack. So - why would people not want immigration from a third world country? Address that issue. There are valid reasons. Borg
-
They are not Canadian - and are proud to say so. In fact they have a party dedicated to becoming something other than Canadian - therefore kebec can leave as well. So you are correct in your assumption You could join them if you truly wanted to - but then you would not benefit from all those wonderful social programs that pay your rent. Borg
-
Well, you need to change the attitude of Canadians in general - after all - once those folks are on the ground here - whether legally or illegally - they are extremely difficult to remove. Deport them and they return - and yes it happens. The sob stories and the "poor misunderstood" and the "hard life" are all accepted excuses to most canadians - time some were actually forced to be responsible for their actions. So, give us your solution - besides increased standards - which will be defeated in todays courts - elitist and therefore probably against the "charter of bullschitte" - someone like our friend trudeau - the second coming - will be there crying to the country about how we are being unfair to the down trodden of the world. Bitter? Nope - realistic about the success of the liberal social re-engineering that has taken place over the past couple of decades Canada is screwed and it will get worse. Borg
-
I live abroad now - so do not give me that crap. Rights? What rights? You have no rights in a third world country unless you have money or power. You get what you are given - can steal or take by force - if you do not like it you leave. Imagine telling someone in the Congo that your rights are being denied because you cannot get served in laguage XXX or that you cannot speak your piece without being threatened. You would be laughed into the ground - if not beaten into the ground. You talk big but do not back it up with reason - then pull the Sieg Heil routine - tells me a lot about you. Borg
-
One and the same - in the end the result is the same and you have now - by accident or design - dodged my question(s). Perhaps you might ask this question - Why would they think that way? Another perhaps - Maybe there is a solid reason for this. Sometimes there ARE good reasons - you seem ready to ignore or dodge. Borg

Ah, yes! Nothing like having your cake and eating it too! Borg
