  1. Dub, in all seriousness, until the Palestinians get their own act together and form a cohesive government that can deal with one unified voice, nothing is gong to happen. Since it's inception, Israel has been attacked even to this day so some, believing there will never be a change, just take what is not going to be used. Wrong as it is, it is right to many. As I stated earlier on more than one occasion, Israel at this point is concerned with one thing - security. They can't allow Palestinians who are not ruled by any government with power to simply enter Israel at will and conduct what they have proven they do. So, until there is a lasting peace with a unified government, they make use of land that otherwise, cannot be allowed to be used by entities that would more than likely attack them. It's wrong but, why not? Nobody else is going to use it. And, the sooner the Palestinians get a real government together that recognizes Israel, has peace as a centerpiece of their policy, prosecutes those who take up arms against them and Israel and, proves they have this under control over a decade or two, nothing is going to change. Hate has been their policy for a half century, to expect anything to change in a moment is dreaming.
  2. At the moment, there is no need for there to be a leader of the Republican party. In fact, it would be detrimental as the leader would have to attack Democrat policies which may or may not be successful. To briefly explain, the Democrat controlled Executive, Congress and Senate give an unrestricted highway to liberal policies. If they succeed the Republican party will self implode. If they fail, well prior to this failure would be the time for a person to come forth to fill this role. At that point, with the country doing a nose dive, the left would be hard pressed to attack that individual while they are scurrying about jumping ship. Pretty much it is a done deal - Democrats run the show, Republicans don't even want to give a hint of owning or complaining about it as there is no equity in either. Now, going back to the talk show hosts, once again, they are entertainers paid by advertising, much like left leaning talk show hosts are and none are considered by any sane individual as an elected leader of any party. There is however, a place in Washington called the White House, another place called the Senate and yet another called Congress. That is where you will find the leaders (present and future) of either party. From your link; Let's see, he doesn't follow the party line and the party doesn't follow him yet many Dems consider him the leader of the Republican party. Whatever floats your boat I guess.
  3. The US conducted much of these actions when they were confronted in those areas by the former USSR. And many would have died if the US did not support them and instead, allowed Soviet backed regimes to hold power. The intent was to stop terrible forces of oppression from gaining a foothold and taking over. That many refer to the US as a beacon is evidence of how they succeeded.
  4. Beck and O'Reilly are radio talk show hosts. This is akin to wondering how one can oppose a bill in the Senate with crackpots like Rhandi Rhodes working at Air Am.
  5. Ten percent and finding irregularities in fifty polling stations is not a recount, rather confirmation it is out to lunch and a total rrecount should be done if it is to be called an election.
  6. All four arms of Iran's security services called up along with people getting their heads shot off in the streets for wishing a recount of forty million ballots that were supposedly counted within two hours of the closing of polls and the leader of the free world is 'reserved?' We all were pretty sure this was a rigged election from the start. If you have evidenced that this should be considered anything but then bring it forth but for sure, asking for a recount is not a capital offense and, if it is, Obama agrees with you. At least for the first few days. Now for some reason, he feels that dissent is not a capital offense go figure.
  7. Dub can't answer those ones. Just like he can't tell and cite who supplied Saddam with his weapons. He aksi thinks that the Jews immediately refused UN Res 181 when it was the Arabs who did and the Jews actually adhered to it until they were attacked. Let me know how it works out. It would be a nice to see Dub have a fact backed up for a change.
  8. By showing you will use it if necessary places your foreign policy on a serious scale. More than cheapo bags of grain you've stolen from your own farmers to use as a peaceful tokens to corrupt thugs in countries where the black market prevails.
  9. I hardly think this guy's political affiliation had much to do with the affair.
  10. Time for the Palestinians to stop their violence at Israel and begin to work towards actual peace and recognition that Israel is a state and has a right to exist. They can start by electing and supporting a unified government that realizes that and punishing those who enact actions against Israel. They can then move towards non villification of Israel through their media. Until they have a govenment such as that, a proven track record of trust and, there are no attacks then Israel will continue to protect themselves at the expense of the poor downtrodden Palestinians. What can you do to support this peace Dub? Easy. Stop placing blame soley at the feet of Israel and push for an honest government and society in Palestine which wants peace based on cooperation and trust rather than attacking with hate. Edited to add: You are part of the problem Dub. Palestinians feel that the world supports their actions of deliberate violence against Israeli women and children and, feel that even if it results in actions such as the recent incursion into Gaza, the propaganda victory for the mindless westerners who hate Jews and Israel will continue to place pressure on Israel even at the expense of killing those whom they profess to love. By accepting deliberate violent insanity and simply critiquing the logical protective response, you continue to play the part they wish you to. Daily on this forum you never once say one stinking bad word about Hamas, yet, spew forth Jew hatered and attempt to portray them as the haters while not mentioning one bad word about those who deliberately attempt to kill women and children, even placing their own in deliberate danger as human shields as part and parcel of their policy. Would you sacrifice your family under any circumstances Dub? Hamas does on a regular basis.
  11. The council did an investigation and found that in fifty districts there were discrepancies in the ballot counts however, not to worry, out of fifty million voters casting physical ballots, they were able to access a precise 63% victory for Amandinijad two hours after the polls closed. Nothing suspicious going on at all. Just fast counters.
  12. Do they use technology there or just flint and spear? If the former, it will last as long as Israel. In any case Benny, this one liner shit has me bored. When you actually have something, let me know and I'll be happy to respond. In themeantime, summer's here and time to get out. Have a great weekend!!!!!
  13. I agree. Iraq was necessary to place US troops outside of Saudi Arabia to enable independent pressure to attack Qutbists the Royals were appeasing and unwilling to take on themselves. With the Bsuh doctrine, they would be fair game. This pressure forced action from the house of Suad to come on board the War on Terror and, the action they took stopped the rampent exporting of Jihadists. In short, despite the problems, Iraq was an essential action in the War on Terror.
  14. Front towards enemy and if in doubt, empty mag. That's all I can tell you Borg. Iran is just being singled out for what we all knew they were to begin with - an oppressive society. Just now everybody knows it and, it only took a crooked election and the deaths of twenty or so protesters, the calling out of four arms of the security force and, the usual tortured confessions of being CIA (done by waterboarding, caterpillars in boxes, photos with cigarette girl smiling and a few barking dogs.), The only thing changed is Obama is running out of despots to 'talk' with.
  15. So is Kitimat in Canada. We're all doomed. Once again, too tired for the one liners so nite Benny.
  16. Why would that be?
  17. I actually see Israel as being fairly progressive in mixing technology with nature and society. At least more than most nations anyhow. If your essay is applicable to Israel, it is moreso to most nations
  18. With an essay applicable to all nations? Israel is ahead of many natiions who have to even approach the economic and societal level they are at. First hybrid power station goes live in Israel Not to forget, the people who ganged up on them after they accepted the UN Resolution 181 and adhered to the borders that it called for along with six Arab nations also have a green plan.... built by somebody else. On a personal note Benny, you seem to be fond of one line posts which don't explain much, nor, address much. However, giving us a link without a relevant quote is a bit of overkill as nobody is going to read the essay or article in it's entirety on the off chance it proves your point (whatever that was) . On the other hand, providing an opinion or fact and backing it up with a quote, then backing that up with a link would be far more economical for our time and, present what it is you are trying to put forth as well.
  19. No I am correct. Try to join a Japanese Canadian organization or, a Russian American club. You will find that you would not be, despite your open mind, too welcome. Try Turkish Belgian clubs and so on and forth. That is what i am referring to. And, they do not allow people to use any other language other than French in public applications. The intent of both they and Israel is to preserve their culture. And your racism which drives you to spend every free moment of your life bashing Jews? What would you call that Dub? Israel does not intend to deliberately attempting to be nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life of anybody. They have stated that they have an immigration policy which preserves their culture and what those parameters are. I thought I explained to you that this law also applies to Jews. This law also applies to Jews Dub.
  20. I'm hoping that Dub is doing some research into this matter as the results will change years of left wing rhetoric into factual information for him. Another surprising eye opener is the fact that the US got more oil from Saddam during the sanctions than they did after the Iraq invasion, even up till now. So Dub, let us know of your findings of the percentages compared to the world weapon sales to Iraq which the US supplied to Iraq please.
  21. Actually you are right as I have found out - few non kin related or, Jews are given citizenship. While looking this up and fairly thoroughly, I also found the basis for this which, once again leads me back to the analogy of the ethnic organizations found throughout the world which seldom allow members from other organizations to join. It is not a racist viewpoint but rather an endeavor to keep the organization or, in this case, the country, a haven for their culture. Similar to Quebec with their language laws. It's hardly racist as those who are not of the Jewish faith are perfectly free to enjoy life free from persecution and, as Benny observed, Jews do not attempt to convert. Remember the UN definition; So, once admitted to Israel, are those not of the Jewish persuasion treated like sub humans? So, it seems that your argument is that Israel wishes to keep itself a haven for Jews and those who are kin of Jews. Sort of like ethnic organizations the world over. Are they all racist or just Israel?
  22. Whatever. They have a country now and aim to protect it at all costs. Too tired to do the one liner thing so bid you a quiet evening Benny. Cheers.
  23. I would agree. Everybody wants a home where they are safe from those who historicly have persecuted them. Jerusalem is, while holy to them, is more important as a symbol that unites them.
