Why are you trying to control the threads being posted on the fourm? I'm assuming being a "forum facilitator" gives you some sort of power over us "normal" posters but to complain at activity on the forum that 85% of the posters think is fair discussion is tiresome. Don't like the content, dont click open. Again, if you personally are getting sick of this topic steer clear of it, there are what 15 sub-sections to this board yet you seem to stumble onto the "anti-muslim" threads you claim to dislike so much. Hostilities can't cease with a terrorist organization. There will always be people willing to blow themselves up to spread a message, and most of the time they use a well known organizations name to further the magnitude of their act. Good post. Obviously Khadr is no saint but I do believe that he was manipulated into doing what he did. His father and the older men around him were terrible influences and I wouldn't doubt that Omar legitimately thought of the soldier he killed as his sworn enemy. In addition as you pointed out the patriarchal hierarchy is - on the whole more revered in the Muslim community. The question(s) that remains: Can he be repatriated and essentially unconvinced of what he was brainwashed into believing? I'm looking forward to hearing him speak.

There's no way the CBC doesn't lose money on two OG that are both outside of the prime viewing time in this Country. If NHL players don't go to Sochi this will make their problems even worse. I'd like to see how they can attack Justin on something he never had any choice over. It's like attacking him for his skin colour? He didn't have a choice who is father was, nor did he have a choice in the line of work his father did. We won't know more about the ammo the admen will have until A) Justin actually announces his leadership bid. Some sort of platform is announced by him and heavy foreign policy questions are lobbed his way and finally C) He actually secures the leadership position (which I do believe he will). However, if after all that TJR, aligns himself to look like a mini-version of his father than I could see how they might have some ammunition to use.. But just going off the sole fact that he is the son of a prime minister doesn't make much sense if any.
