  1. GO OILERS BRING the cup to canada
  2. Well 1 of the people with a warrant was picked up and is now in custody, lets just hope they soon get the rest of them.
  3. I have 4 children all pretty much grown( ihave a 3 yr old grandchild) I would like to say i never spanked my kids, but yes they got the occasional swat. However my one son had/has ADD and ODD and it is different to parent these children. With him I didn't "sweat" the little stuff and i don't beleive i ever spanked him as it would have been useless anyway. I don't think there is a "right" way to discipline a child. Do i beleive in spanking, in retrospect i don't beleive I do,but my dad gave me some swats and I certainly had more respect then some (NOT ALL by any MEANS) kids i see around today. Hard thing.
  4. I never said not to except benefits only if you are don't claim not to be a part of this country and its laws. THAT was my point.
  5. In many parts of the world, when an individual or group perceives the rule of law to have dissolved, then he or they either take the law into their own hands or contract another group to enforce the law. In third world countries it is quite common for individuals and companies to hire mercenaries and other qualified and trained “security” personnel for protection and the enforcement of the law. In Caledonia, private property is being destroyed and citizens are being assaulted in plain view of established law enforcement. This law enforcement group has been sworn to protect these citizens but is refusing to perform that duty. Perhaps it is time that Caledonia begin to look elsewhere for protection: Mercenaries are plentiful and available for personal protection. They have been trained to react to dangerous situations and violence. In large cities like Toronto, for major rock concerts and other events where strong crowd control is required, the promoters usually hire outlaw bike gangs to function as their security force. I understand that they do “keep the peace”. If people in Caledonia do decide to employ that strategy then we may witness another bizarre chapter in the Caledonia fiasco. We can see television coverage of hired mercenaries and bikers “dealing with” the natives while the Caledonians join the OPP on the sidelines watching this theatre. It may be expensive but would it be any more expensive than the price the Caledonians are now paying?
  6. LOL The rules i mean are the laws of this country, which since you say you are not a resident, don't reap the benefits, but if you wish to don't harbor the fugitves whom choose too terrorize the civilized residents. Iam not directly involved but your "people" have made me by my family loosing power food wages and our peace of mind. I'm not saying its wrong to protest I'm saying quit infringing on my personal rights to live in my community in peace. And send the criminals to jail broke the law in canada go to jail in canada.
  7. AHHHH reap the benefits but not follow the rules...sounds like a seond grade classrooms argument What a double standard
  8. If Canada has no authority quit taking all the benefits. Where does your welfare and child tax benefits and unemployment insurance cheques come from?
  9. This has gone on long enough. ELderly people being attacked, the press having threr equip, ent stolen. I want my community back this is terriable. The power outage was bad enough now all this. Throw all the protestors that are breaking the law in jail.
  10. My elderly father lives with us and he has a healthcare worker come to our home. She asks that we not smoke in the house when she is here. She can ask all she wants......Its my house. But we dont smoke in the same room she is in. Even though my dad would like to LOL
  11. CHEERS....Shall we all Quit working and drink? They need treatment not disability benefits. Whats NEXT????????
  12. From what I hear, there are a lot of folks on Six Nations who are pissed at the vandals and want them punished. They see those goofs as ignoring the wishes of the Clanmothers and Chiefs and raising havoc on their own. You never piss off the Clanmothers and Chiefs. Hopefully the police will get them before the people do. Nya:weh HI I realize this, MY PROBLEM is with everyone involved . From the natives to the towns people to the OPP and GOvernment. My family has been screwed with about something that I'm not involved in. I want compensation and I want it OVER. My kids missed school WE both missed work and now lost $$$ to....I did not ask to become involved in this...Yet Iam And BTW Iam not trying to offend anyone or their views on this. I'm just so FRUSTRATED
  13. ***** Here is the offending extra closing quote tag (taken out in demo below)*******LOL I'm NEW
  14. I totally agree that the perpetrators need to be punished. Thats what the residents here want. We want peace and we want our lives back. I am not a racist. A little background Info, my hubbys father was from six nations his mother not, however he is disappointed in the carrys-on. And he feels shame right now, but he is also happy he takes after his mothers side physically, because its tough going around here right now. Also since my hubby is part native that means my children and grandbaby are too. Its not the principal WHO is causing upheaval, it is THAT it is Being done by Terrorists
  15. Which of these was it? all of the above
  16. Geoffrey Thank-You for the words of wisdom going to get the camera now.
  17. Quite the funny fellow....but if your offering ...perhaps....as there will be quite a few empty dinner Tables in SImcoe tonight.........
  18. [Did you send in a demand for cash back in August of 2004? My power was out for a full week. Lost my food and everything. As a matter of fact I did The city of Chatham(where I lived at the time)issued checks to citizens for any bottled water and containers they purchased and I cliamed lost food on my insurance. Didn't you?
  19. I'm sure my ancestors were well prepared for the living conditions to which "THEY WERE ACCUSTOMED" as is my family. There will be quite a few insurance claims on our house insurance policys for loss of food due to power outage. NOt one of my neighbors, friends or coworkers salvalged anything from their freezers. My mother-in-law (retired on a fixed income) lost half a beef she purchased less then a month ago. If it was a "act" of god it wouldn't hurt as much as a act of violence, terrorism and destruction. Come drive down our city streets and see the bags upon bags of garbage(food) local residents are throwing out. Not everyone can afford to restock the larder.
  20. It was a alot longer then an hour did you read what I wrote?
  21. Isn't messing with our hydro service an act of terrorism? I live in Simcoe, my power was out from Monday at 3Pm Till Wed at 3:55 Am. My fridge and frezzer products are now curbside for garbage collection. My Place of Employment was also closed so I have lost wages on top of that. This is a peaceful protest? Who will compensate my family?
