  1. I was expecting Nash be be 3 or even 2nd. But I'm glad she was sidelined. She fell apart though. Dewar never really impressed me the entire race.
  2. Good point. I never thought of that. Very. He looked like he was lying he was so clueless.
  3. Who thinks Cullen is going to be the other co-deputy?
  4. He told Mansbridge in the interview last night that he would keep her on. Maybe to show unity? Not piss of MPs and the base?
  5. Sales tax was increased in NS.
  6. Neither was I. I'm just trying amusing myself after a long day. I'm pretty thankful Nash didn't pull one out. I'm happy w the result.
  7. They must be f'n exhausted. Tip of my hat to Topp. Good run
  8. He was like this in the first few debates. Then people realized he could be a threat and piled on a little. That first debate was hi best though.
  9. lol at shifting taxes. I never heard that before. They raise taxes.
  10. I'm interested to see when they unload it with their budget coming down on Thursday.
  11. I wonder if that will be in the Mulcair attack ad that airs in the new few days. lol
  12. That's true. I guess it would be different if it was just the company F'n up and not hackers.
  13. Yeah but people aren't going to see it that way. And the media won't present it that way.
  14. I think it is mostly his hair though. I've never played organized soccer but I love watching it. Although I only end up watching international play. I'm a MASSIVE hockey fan and I think it is the best sport in the world (I don't care if the popular vote says otherwise) but if I had to pick I would say Messi is the best athlete in the world. He dominates a sport that isn't easy to dominate and he actually makes it look easy.
  15. God I was sitting around for hours with nothing really happening and I got out for 30 minutes and I miss this? lol On a scale of 1-10 how bad has this been for the party? It will obviously be a story tomorrow but how bad does it look? Rob Silver is pointing out on his twitter feed that considering they are picking a leader in one day with a one member one vote system it isn't going that bad. Andrew Coyne pointed out that they had 8 months to plan for this and that two votes took 8 hours. lol
  16. No one can convince me that Messi plays like a girl.
  17. Was tampering really confirmed? This has been a mess. Watching NDP communications trying to explain why this happened w low turnout was amusing. They kept saying it was because there was higher turnout than expected. That's terrible spin.
  18. Yeah once you raises taxes to balance the budget you can cut them down the road. That doesn't negate the fact that they were raised to begin with. How did it make this up if you state in your comment that they raise business taxes, income taxes on the rich (that is still raising taxes however you feel about it). They also raised the provincial sales tax in NS. But yeah, other than all those taxes they dont raise taxes. And yeah, the big money really influences people like me. Me being the guy that voted NDP in the last two elections.
  19. The NDP may have a better record but they usually do it by raisesing taxes. A lot of taxes in some cases. And people don't usually like that. Balanced budgets or not.
  20. Yeah. Heard more. I heard Cullen talk about the environment way more than I heard Mulcair talk about it during the race. I can't say I know much about Mulcair's track record but when I did hear him mention the oil sands for example he didn't come out hard (or at all).
  21. I've heard more from Cullen on the environment than I have from Mulcair.
  22. Huh? I think he weighs more than just the number of offenses. I thought he did change it a bit by how many suspensions he handed down Also, it's hard to change such a large organization single handedly.
