  1. Absolutely. Absolutely. Assuming that he "authored" the study that came up with the numbers. If Ezra Levant quotes a study he did that shows that NDP party members are generally of below-average IQ, I think I would question it....completely. If the Liberal Party of Canada quotes a study they did that says Canadians are in favor of illegal border crossing, I know I would call BS. If anyone quotes a study done by a group that does not stand to gain from results either way, I think I would be inclined to put a little more weight behind their findings. Want me to quickly throw together some numbers about illegal refugee claimants and quote myself for you?
  2. Kindergarten is "learning" daycare and kids seem to love it. I think that's great. I raised two kids and know the challenges of "half day" schooling (which only last one year - two if you include playschool). My opinion is this: FDK should be offered to all parents that want to utilize it....at whatever it costs the educational system to provide. Want it "taught" by union teachers? Okay, then the cost will be far, far above daycare but that's your choice. Taxpayers should not be on the hook for what is, ostensibly, daycare. And if you think kindergarten is supplying learning that daycares aren't, then maybe it's time to evaluate your choice of daycare. Colors, numbers and touching your toes - daycare or kindergarten - they should both be teaching them.
  3. Did I miss something? When, exactly, did she say SHE was a muslim?
  4. Good gawd betsy, as to the OP, if someone is actually in fear for his life and states that people are trying to kill him - do ya think the smartest thing to do is go on a public internet forum and say "I don't know how to hide from the murderous Buddhists trying to kill me"?? Look at the date of the OP......
  5. Don't forget that he "hates science" too. No sense insulting someone if you're not prepared to do it right. Thanks,
  6. 1. Omni - Not a troll. (<----that's a period). I may not like what he has to say, but he's not trolling. Misinformed maybe, but not a troll. 2. HE - Really great guy with a HUGE interest in science. If you don't like the posts, don't take the bait. 3. BC - Not a troll. (<----that's another period right there). You may not like what he has to say, but he's not trolling. Throws it back in Canadian's faces, but not a troll. 4. Me - "Trollish" from the Latin "Trollish" meaning "to have tendencies to troll occasionally".
  7. I think the mod staff should be forced to identify each "different" troll by type (this should help) and then insert the associated pictures from that link into their profiles as their avatar. That should at least identify them correctly.
  8. So, if one of these "non-refugees" receives welfare (ahem...tax money) and then buys, say, a Tim Horton's double double - could a cop take the coffee and call it a "proceed of crime"?
  9. The illegal immigration problem looks like it's growing from the heart out....starts in Trudeau's favorite of the 10 9 provinces and spreads outward. Now, where have I heard THAT before?
  10. Well, at least the Liberals have things under control....... Yup. 11 years - so says the government itself. Good news Argus, it won't even cost 3 billion for the illegals...... https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2017/06/15/wait-time-for-canadian-asylum-claims-could-hit-11-years-cost-29-billion-government-analysis.html Oh, and lets remember that these numbers were way back in the middle of June. Long before Haiti became a province of Canada.
  11. I'm serious that any person attempting to commit an act of terrorism should be given a .223 migraine headache without hesitation. Unlike some, I don't want to see these people arrested/detained. I want to see them "removed from the course of employment" permanently. Someone who is willing to "blow themselves up" likely won't have much of an issue being used for target practice. And, no, I don't much care about their "human rights".
  12. Hence the part about the cops with guns preventing entry.
  13. Gee...if only there were a way to stop people from illegally entering Canada...... Hows about just turning those barriers about 90 degrees? I believe the intent of calling something a "barrier" is so they can be used as.....barriers. And how about a sign that says "Entering here is against the laws of Canada. No crossing of the border at this location will be allowed. Go to an official border crossing."....in English and french of course. And then take a couple of those RCMP officers (you know, the ones with guns) and have them PREVENT people from breaking the law.
  14. Any bets that Google has a significant hand in building the first one that "accidentally goes rogue"? Not into conspiracy theories (because I just can't help but ignore the science...), but with the amount of data that Google (Skynet) collects and their research into AI, I think it's only a matter of time before we end up with "War Games" of some type. Now put that kind of tech into something that is mobile and able to think for itself..... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WarGames
  15. Well, at least we can lay one argument to rest.....Minister Hussen himself finally came out and said it: Yup, it's illegal Hey Omni, care to argue the point again, with the Liberal Minister perhaps?
  16. ...even though Haitians don"t qualify as "refugees". Thanks for making my point.
  17. You're assuming that the 50% that were allowed to stay somehow fit the narrow description of "refugee". These laws aren't being followed - they're being "used as needed" which is not the intention of a "law". Haitians (in the macro) do NOT fit the profile of "refugee".
  18. I hate it when Buddhists hire people to kill me. It gets so old so quick.
  19. Which means they're following the law as written 50% of the time. Wow. They should all get participation medals.
  20. I really don't think Justin ever HAD control of this government. Seriously, I doubt that he's actually intelligent enough to realize what he doesn't understand. I honestly believe the guy is substantially below the average IQ of people who make it to elected government positions, which would explain why he is only able to speak in platitudes and struggles so much with on-the-spot questions. If Butts told him "we should pay this person this much", I highly doubt Justin would have the intellectual wherewithal to have any kind of reasoned response. Likely why he never seems to disagree with anyone on the Liberal side - he's not bright enough to put up a rational argument.
  21. Which this government ignores. Laws are only worth the paper they're written on when they are enforced. Just google "Article 3, 772.3.6 Petrolia" for example. Justin and his happy band of feel-gooders have turned our "toughest immigration laws in the western world" into a huge joke. "Walking over the border illegally? Tsk, tsk. Here's some money, healthcare, a place to stay and more money. Thanks for coming in against the law. Sincerely, The Liberal Party of Canada"
  22. Facts are exactly what I posted a link to. Go back and look.
  23. No, not a shock. What I DO find shocking is that the government of Canada (and CBSA) completely ignore our own laws and let these people in. The fact that you and people like you find that to be okay is another thing that I find offensive, but not particularly shocking. You said it yourself...you are fine taking from other Canadians ("almost free health care") so why would it be surprising that you have no problem letting other people, who have no right to it, take money from the Canadians who support the whole damn economy? I've always said there are contributors and there are takers. Those that only take will never be in short supply and there doesn't seem to be anything that makes them ashamed of that fact. They exist only because of the graciousness of those that contribute. I think we've established which you are and which I am.
  24. http://www.irb-cisr.gc.ca/Eng/RefClaDem/Pages/ClaDemGuide.aspx Hmm... Wonder which one of us is right? It's not that "I" keep saying it, it's that the Gov of Canada keeps saying it. Not a single mention of being "dirt poor".
