  1. Feeling a little stressed out today, Eureka? There's this men's boutique and they carry lot's of Josph Abboud. I LOVE Abboud stuff. I'm 34 waisted and like my tops loose, XXL! I pay 17% on the value.
  2. SO?? What happened? Did she snub him as I thought she would?
  3. Who would you suggest?
  4. You may be "Looking for help from teachers..." and that's fine. What concerns me is how, during the B.C. teachers strike, the teachers were in seventh heaven when their pupils took up their cause. Teachers using children to line their pockets? That's disgusting! And here I thought I'd seen it all.
  5. Just in case you didn't understand ... what I meant was that there are MORE eyes focused on her then there are on ALL of the others put together. And that's a fact.
  6. A thief who returned his ill-gotten gains and a criminal without a record. Tempest, meet teapot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Had he not returned his ill-gotten gains after the police knocked on his door several times, no crocodile tears would have helped him avoid a criminal record and the world would be a better place today.
  7. Americans are better at fighting air pollution, but we are better at fighting water pollution. Isn't that so?
  8. Steal jewellery?! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "It can't be explained but it is common and done by many decent, law abiding people." - eureka
  9. Sounds good to me. Anybody with the gonads to critique Islam deserves some credit. -k <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Does that mean that you are going to bet her? You should, you know! There are more eyes focused on her today than there are on all the other entrants the NP can muster. But, does the NP have the gumption to pull her through, that IS the question? If they do they'll definitely make a big splash world wide with this 'Public Intellectual' competition. SO WHAT if the Toronto subway gets blasted .... if not there, it'll happen somewhere else because the terrorists today are running on all cylinders, but, luckily, are not yet equipped enough to blow up ALL the infidels that their hearts desire. Keep on appeasing them as Paul Martin does and soon they will.
  10. Well ... JFK's "Let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate" is awfully close to that, IMHO.
  11. A Vancouver police WANTED POSTER states: "ROBERTSON's condition subsequently deteriorated, and he was removed from life support during the morning of October 8th. ROBERTSON was pronounced dead at 17:04 hrs." http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=tony+r...nG=Search&meta= Were they lying???
  12. LOOK, I WOULDN'T BE AT ALL SUSPICIOUS if it weren't for the continuous stream of Canadians flooding U.S. hospitals and coming back fully cured after being given a death sentence here. There ought to be a law!
  13. Ever since that Muslim filly drew in things got awfully quiet around here. Is everyone here starting to suspect as I do, that she's a shoe-in, a ringer, and a definite winner? My best bet of the year ... she is.
  14. I understand. It takes time to clean a dinosaur's litterbox.
  15. So! A man gets beaten up in the morning, doctors put him on life support that same morning, then, that same morning, they take him off of life support because they can see the tell-tale signs that he is going to die that night. BRILLIANT! Only in Canada, you say?
  16. After reading the above 'WANTED POSTER' on my work place bulletin board, and seeing how no one gave a shit that Tony Robertson was unplugged so fast and without explanation, I started thinking about Martin Niemöller's advice.... "First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me." .... and wondered if it could apply here. I think it could.
  17. From what I read they just plain gave up on him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No details. And just to clarify ... I didn't really read that they "just plain gave up on him", I just imagined it. I got ALL of my information reading the 'Wanted Poster', below, where it states; "EHS attended and transported ROBERTSON, who was still conscious, to St. Paul's Hospital. ROBERTSON's condition subsequently deteriorated, and he was removed from life support during the morning of October 8th. ROBERTSON was pronounced dead at 17:04 hrs." http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=tony+r...nG=Search&meta= I bet you that they wouldn't have unplugged him as fast as they did had they suspected that loved ones would be coming.
  18. I have to ask this question; why did they take him off life support??? If he was lucid when they brought him in, life support applied at 5AM, perhaps by 7AM they thought he'd be fine without LS??? Do you have any more details on this case??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From what I read they just plain gave up on him. THAT FAST !! It doesn't make sense. I'm just an amateur, specializing mainly in respiratory problems .... but this looks fishy to me. In today's Province the police are offering $10,000 to whoever helps them catch the killer. It reads: "The police board is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever killed Tony Robertson. Robertson, a homosexual, had left the Dufferin Hotel in downtown Vancouver and was believed to be on his way home. In the 600-block of Main Street, he ended up in a varbal altercation in front of a convenience store. A witness saw two men standing by while a third attacked Robertson, 51, at around 3 a.m. on Oct. 8. 'We don't know whether all three were actually involved,' said Vancouver police Const. Tim Fanning. It's not known if Robertson was targeted because he was homosexual." I hope they catch them. I'm a betting man, and if I was going to wager on who actually WANTED to kill him, I'd take the doctors.
  19. http://www.canada.com/national/nationalpos...uals/index.html They entered Don Cherry in this contest just to get the hosers to vote. He ain't gonna win.
  20. http://www.canada.com/national/nationalpos...uals/index.html Just to keep you all up to date ..... today Lorne Gunter nominated Tom Flanagan. I already can't wait for tomorrow because that's when my favorite Muslim lady, Irshad Manji, will be nominated. She is a riot! I don't think she's got enough in her to win but I hope that she at least shows or places.
  21. So you believe what Sparhawk says .... that a large segment of Canadians are rich? Then how come most of the comfortably sized apartmants in Vancouver's West End and Yaletown, those not in the "cubicle" category, are bought by foreigners who let them, for the most part, sit empty? Where are these Canadians with capital that Sparhawk's talking about? Do Canadians PREFER Murphy beds?
  22. JFK stole that one from Winston ChurchilL, who stole it from Henry Thoreau, who stole it from Francis Bacon. His "Ask not" speech was plagerized many times also. That one originated with Mr. Harding.
  23. A nice guy (no police record) but poor, and a long time welfare recipient, got beaten up by thugs in Vancouver's Chinatown about a week ago. At 3 am he was taken to St. Paul's hospital by ambulance, still lucid and able to communicate. They put him on life support at about 5 am but by 7 am they unplugged him. He died at 5:17 pm that night. Some people are "let go" or "killed" sooner than others, I guess.
  24. Here on the Left Coast there are two brands of coffee that many people swear by, Tim Horton's and Starbucks. No respectable Starbucks addict will touch Tim Horton's coffee and vice versa. Here it would be considered rude not to ask first which they'd prefer.
  25. "No matter whom you place in position A or B" ???? That's TWO Freudian slips in one sentence. I think.
