It's kind of like marrying someone and you make a commitment for better or for worse and the only commitment your partner makes is for better. Besides OGT is right, there is always a use for a "whipping boy" and it becomes easier and easier to take away more and more rights from the second class citizen.

For those of us who have dual citizenship and were born outside of the country stripping terrorists of their citizenship still feels like a slap on the face. This means that no matter what I do, no matter how I serve this country I will never be a citizen… I will at most be a "citizen". It is easy for those shipping the rights, not so easy for those whose rights are being stripped.

I think that the Liberals are the once that started this mess with regards to vets, the conservatives made it worse and didn't change a thing for the better. To me this election is about things other than vets because the promises of the Liberals does not make me feel better due to their track record, Same goes for the Conservatives and I have a feeling that the NDP really really dislikes the military as a whole...

I don't have to wait until after the elections to know that none of the three parties will do a thing to fix the problem.

And which party would fix the plight of the Veterans? It seems to me that the other parties are only interested in complaining about it but none have a solution other than business as usual.

I don't know, seems like the situation in Ontario is equal to or better than 30 American States. And turns out that Canada has more hospital beds per 1000 people than the US... Wasn't there something about people in glass houses throwing stones?

You made it sound like they were planning on doing something about Climate change, they are just planning for whatever natural disaster strikes as a result of climate change...

If it is just a matter of trigger happy cops as you seem to believe then it would be simple to fix, unfortunately in the real world the problem is much more complex and the police have but a small share of the blame and fixing it, really fixing it is so much more complicated than blaming the police and calling it a day... You seem to hate police officers, you don't seem to grasp that blaming 700,000+ police officers for the social, economic and cultural failings that lead to the problem o...

What does it mean? What are the root causes? Its nice to have statistics to back up your position but first you have to have a position. I will ask you again, do you think that this comes up because police officers have a quota of dead black youth per year? Or do you think that there are root causes that cause this before it eve gets to deadly force with the police?

You hide behind a statistic that you can't even begin to understand. Keep repeating this statistic maybe you might understand what it means at some point in the future.

You seem to be missing the simple point that this has causes other than the police. What part of this do you not understand? Do you understand that there are economic, social and cultural causes that explain the significant difference? Or do you think that LOE have a quota of dead black teens they need to fill?

The stats that cops are idiots? You didnt post any of those... as for the stats you posted, seems to me you can't understand them or their causes...

So you are saying the majority of the 780,000 police officers in the states are cops because they seek power? So everyone in the military, fire department or education field is unsuited to do their jobs as well?

So where are the stats about the low IQ of the police officers? So how many of the 780,000+ police officers in the US " aren't in general the highest IQ people within the community in general"

So the police created the ghettos? The problem is not the police, at least not the entire problem... they may be part of it but you seem to be assigning most of the blame to the group that can do the least in improving the situation.

So what do you believe is the problem? Statistics are nice but they don't show us the problem, they show us the result. The result is that more young black males are killed by police than young white males so saying that the police are just a bunch of racist bastard solves nothing because these situation will keep happening. The problem is deeper and more complex, something that is hard to get in to over status updates...

The police enforce the law, sometimes they go overboard but the majority are good people so if more black men die by police then more black men are committing crimes or are caught.It could mean that there is more police presence in black neighbourhoods, less opportunities for youth in black neighbourhoods etc... making it about police being racist is just an easy way to lay blame and fix nothing.

Look at your initial status update, thats the story, BLACK teen shot by WHITE cop. Someone wants to make it seem like the cops get together every friday, flip a coin to decide who will get to kill a black guy this week...
