1. Truth Social and Rebel News will be the only media sources of news. How good is that! 2. Already have one. It's called the White House. 3. Spoken like a person who is medicated and has avoided hospitalization thus far. 4. I'm not American so can't speak to Obama vs. Trump education policies with any first hand knowledge . Quick search shows; Obama's education policies focused on raising academic standards, increasing accountability, and enhancing college access/affordability. Key initiatives included the $4 billion Race to the Top program, promoting the Common Core State Standards, expanding charter schools, improving STEM education, and replacing private bank-based student loans with direct federal loans, while expanding Pell Grants. Trump's education policies focus on universal school choice, dismantling the federal Department of Education, promoting "patriotic education," and restricting diversity initiatives (DEI) in schools. Key initiatives include expanding tax-deductible 529 accounts, restructuring accreditation, and curbing LGBTQ+ rights in schools, while pushing to divert taxpayer funds to private/religious education. I'm guessing it was Obama's focus on improving the education system and raising academic standards that made him so radical, or is it Trump's 'patriotic education' (whatever that is) restricting DEI and curbing LGBTQ peoples rights that make Obama look so bad?

As I've said many times... you and others non-stop crying and complaining is humorous sometimes, other times just plain boring... Do you have any idea what you're talking about right now? Nobody was attacked here because the convo isn't about anyone....it's about immigration and the economy. Are the meds kicking in kiddo?
-
So where is the one billion summary? All this is available so I'm sure you can find it somewhere. I don't care about Trudeau any more.... he's been out of office for over a year. You're a hopeless right wing cry hard so I can see why he's still important to you. The majority of our country is wrong, and you're the only one who is right, as usual kiddo....

You go Jimmy... That was too funny! 😂 There is way too much material to use with the FLOTUS and her narcissistic meal ticket. Maybe she can worry about her own family and the shît stain they are before crying about someone taking pot shots at them. Either that, or write another booooook about all the great things they have done as a family to calm down the divisiveness and bring more unity to the country.

You were the guy who said his expenses last year were a billion dollars, weren't you? Still haven't seen those details... Of course you'd think Carney isn't here for Canada and is only doing this to enrich himself. That's what makes laughing at you and the other crying conservatives so much fun some times....other times not so much. Most people live in a world of reality, but some need something else to hang on to when things, or elections don't go their way. Keep your head up kiddo... things may go your way one day.

Absolutely the same group that is complaining today about immigration would be the same group complaining if we intentionally brought our economy to its knees with no workers to support business and services we depend on. I also get where people are coming from, and happen to one of those persons who thought we went way too far with the immigration numbers coming out of covid. I'll disagree though on the impacts to the economy.... Our birth rates have been declining for the past 15 years and we're an aging population who have been and are exiting the workforce. By 2030 we're going to lose approximately 9 million baby boomers from the workforce which is going to have a big impact on our economy if we don't have people to fill those job losses to support both corporate and personal tax revenues and keep inflation in line. A business can't function without people and the government is dependent on tax revenues, and will be even more so as we age and require more health care and the costs associated with that. We see it today, and I think our aging population is only going to create more financial and economic challenges for us before too long.

Logically, you'd think there has been discussion with European and other country car makers but we are where we are. Yes, tariffs are hurting the industry and again why we and US auto makers need to keep reinforcing that in hopes Trump comes to his senses. Regardless, charge ahead with Chinese autos as agreed to and keep exploring the possibility of manufacturing here. I've said the industry was moving more investments south to the US or Mexico through both Harper and Trudeau so hard to point it on a convervative or liberal government, although you're naturally going to say it's the liberals fault the industry has lessened over the decades. Yep... all you guys do is complain and b1tch every day about anything left or liberal. Whatever, it is what it is...

We need immigration, period. You should look harder.... which really wasn't hard to find; 1. Demographic Challenges (Aging Population) Low Birth Rate: Canada's fertility rate is 1.5 babies per woman, well below the 2.1 replacement rate needed to sustain the population. Retirement Surge: By 2030, 9 million baby boomers will reach retirement age, creating a smaller working population to pay taxes supporting healthcare and social services. Worker-to-Retiree Ratio: In 1971, the ratio was 6.6 workers for every retiree; by 2035, this is expected to drop to 2 to 1. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] 2. Economic and Labor Market Needs Labor Force Growth: Nearly 100% of Canada's labor force growth is driven by immigration. Filling Key Shortages: Immigrants are crucial in key sectors: they represent 30%+ of manufacturing workers, 25%+ of healthcare sector workers, and 50% of home child care providers. Economic Impact: Studies suggest that immigration boosts GDP by increasing both the labor force and consumer demand. Without immigration, Canada's economy would experience a shrinking labor force and slower economic growth. Entrepreneurship: Immigrants are more likely to be business owners with paid staff than the Canadian-born population. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] 3. Economic Growth and Productivity Filling Skilled Gaps: Over 80% of recent immigrants have post-secondary credentials, supporting industries that require high-skilled workers. Increased Productivity: Firms owned by immigrants with higher education, such as doctorates or master’s degrees, tend to show higher productivity. Boosting Trade: Immigrants help strengthen international trade ties, with research showing Canada has higher trade volumes with countries that have provided large numbers of immigrants. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] 4. Supporting Public Finances Tax Base Growth: Working-age immigrants expand the tax base, which is crucial for funding social programs. Fiscal Contribution: While early-stage incomes may be lower, economists generally find that skilled immigrants contribute more in taxes over their lifetimes than the cost of public services they consume.[1, 2, 3, 4] Note: While evidence supports the need for immigration for growth, reports also highlight the need for careful planning regarding infrastructure, housing supply, and integration to address pressures on public services. [1, 2] I've never said things are "peachy' but do believe a lot, or most Canadian's are also mature enough not to refer our country as Canuckistan. Some are disenchanted because their choice of politician was not elected, some are happy to see Carney elected, and some just like to complain all day because they think someone is listening. Takes all kinds to make the world turn...

Barely, if at all... You continue to prove your ineptness... A working 'executive' of a charity is not a board member or director. An executive may be a member of the board, but it's not a paid role; Fiduciary Duty: Directors are seen as trustees of a charity's assets and are generally restricted from benefiting from them. Provinces Vary: While some, such as Ontario, typically prohibit compensating directors for their work to prevent conflicts, others may allow it if it is fair market value for services rendered. No you didn't. Board directors of non-profit organizations are typically are not paid positions. From 200 board positions to 2 dozen now.... Sorry kiddo, try reading rather than your usual make it up and run with it garbage. 'In total, he was affiliated with more than eight major corporate, academic, or financial advisory boards and, according to a 2025 filing, he stepped down from all executive, board, and advisory positions in January 2025 to run for the Liberal Party leadership' See if this nonsense you pulled out of your ǎss has a back-up you can provide..... 'But for now all he has to do is shovel 500 million into their pockets over a few years to pay for equity and diversity for gay trans rice planters in vietnam' You're an idi0t.... there is no other way to describe you.

It's mind boggling to think about how your little cranium works... Sure, a Prime Minister and one of the world largest asset managers have a sure fire plan to reap billions from Carney's position. What a fool... You're on a roll... Board members for charities are generally unpaid fool. Look up the meaning of the word 'charity'.... The classic pull it out of your áss, say it a time or two and now it's real. He was on 8 boards fool, but look forward to seeing the list of 200 companies that I'm sure you have at your fingertips. LMAO... quite possibly your stupidest comment ever, and that's saying A LOT. LMAO....damn are you stupid 😂 This post of yours just builds with idi0cy as you move through it. Congrats... I didn't think you could be any more foolish than what you show on an hourly basis, but I was wrong. The king of stupid and undefeated champion of idi0cy... CdnFxx 🏆

building Chinese cars here in Canada....
LinkSoul60 replied to Army Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You're pathological... Pull whatever you can out of your âss, say it 3 times and next thing you know it's real. And then... everyone has lost yet again and are having an emotional breakdown. Classic Fxx. -
Correct. Henry Ford and friends decided to keep their head offices on the other side of the river and locate a part of their manufacturing footprint in Ontario. Also correct that America is looking after America....which is why we have to look after ourselves. Isn't that the whole point. It's not about them needing Canadian built cars/trucks. Those cars/trucks are just part of the supply chain and don't all stay in Canada anyway. It's about the tariffs that have been on to cost pressure manufacturers to reshape their manufacturing footprint to the US. Not complicated... more jobs move to the US less jobs here. I understand that our auto industry is made up of US, Japanese or German based companies... what is your point? They employ Canadian workers. And what are you talking about... the solution is to build A car here? That's probably why no Canadian has decided to invest in a start-up auto company that could compete. You were actually do real good with 3 paragraphs of no liberal chatter, until.... Be serious... you're saying the investment that left Canada during a conservative term is really on the liberals because they should have reversed those decisions? If on the other foot, you right wingers sure are defensive about the same things you slam liberals for. Lol... you guys are broken records. And yes, absolutely they need to step up.

Then send me the links... You can't because there are no facts, just your usual pull it out of the backend anti left thinking. I'm coping just fine... are you. You sound defensive.... were you having a mini-meltdown while typing that? -

Lol... you never have anything other than your typical nonsense do you. Pull it out of your áss, say it a few times, and next thing you know it's real and you've 'won' 😂 And yes, I'm sure it was quite affordable for you living in your parents basement back then, and probably today... If you can't back up what your little mind thinks and says, don't spew it 🤡 -

For someone with an obvious lack of intellect, you sure do have a high opinion of yourself in thinking you're always winning with everyone, when you're continually falling flat on your face. Has "Donald" made any news today, or are you checking in on him later? Like all your schtick... lot's of mindless chirping with nothing to back it up. Still waiting on the affordability links. Maybe include them with Carney's $1B expense summary that you also haven't sent yet. LMAO.. little Fxx, what a 🤡 -
Guess you're right... rounds out my mornings 🙄
-
The more Poilievre talks the more we're going to see conservative MP's cross the aisle... He's truly nauseating with his non-stop complaining of look what the liberals did and are doing, and of course unable to answer questions directly. Only a matter of time before this clown is out of politics which will benefit the Conservative Party, and Canada.
-
Who's blowing off steam... I just called you and WestCanFool a couple idi0ts. Tell me where I'm wrong... Why are you so compelled to talk to me this morning?
-
Don't got much do you.... 😂
-
No, I just find it tiring and actually quite boring to reply to every post from idi0ts like yourself.... and you're certainly near the top of the idi0t list. I'll just sit back and shake my head or laugh at your same old idi0tic posts, and wonder if you're really as stupîd as you come across... Are you?
