When he dismissed the case he changed the rules and you can't do that and could be viewed as coming afoul of Perry's due process rights.

Trump wasn't winning the the primaries until that first indictment dropped which pissed people off enough to back Trump fully. If there were no indictments or frivolous lawsuits you would probably have Ron DeSantis as the next President of the US.
