Blue Terrorists Try Again
Hodad replied to gatomontes99's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Bullshit. You're lying on both counts. Nobody was prosecuted for just standing outside. Nobody. And you think that's a generalization? -- The only people prosecuted were those who broke into and marauded around the capitol and those who were violent or instigating outside of the capitol. And those who were guilty of lesser offenses were NOT given maximum sentences. They were given things like probation or home confinement. You are lying because the facts make it clear that there was no vindictive prosecution. -

You are farking delusional. He didn't even remotely imply killing. And he's just a private citizen. Meanwhile your Orange Overlord has explicitly and actively tried to overthrow democracy and purged non-loyalists from government through extraordinary and unprecedented means. I wonder what word they used? President Donald Trump: "We’ll seek ’em out. We’ll get rid of ’em. At every agency you have scum... We need to make it much easier to fire rogue bureaucrats who are deliberately undermining democracy." – MSN / HuffPost Reporting on Agency Purges American Accountability Foundation Watchlists: "If you see yourself on this list and wish to be removed, please forward us evidence that you've resigned or been fired." – Reuters Investigation into the "Subversive Worker" Purge Chris Christie (On early Trump administration proposals): "One of the things I have suggested to Donald is that we have to immediately ask the Republican Congress to change the civil service laws. Because if they do, it will make it a lot easier to fire those people... [and] purge government of Obama appointees." – Reuters -

It's a generalization? You mentioned a specific "grandma who stood outside with a sign" and a proposed prison sentence as an example of "insane" prosecutions. But it never happened. The fact is that nobody, grandma or otherwise was prosecuted for standing outside. The only people who were prosecuted were people who occupied the capitol and a handful of violent people or instigators who did not go in. My best guess is that you "remembered" it from Twitter and tried to look it up, found there was no such thing, and are now trying to pass it off as a generalization. But fabrications with no relationship to reality are not generalizations. They are not generally representative of anything whatsoever. They are simply lies. Now this "Maga Granny" is worth applauding. Former ‘Maga Granny’ refuses to accept Trump’s pardon for actions on January 6 Pamela Hemphill insists on taking responsibility for role she played in trying to overturn the 2020 election results “Absolutely not,” Hemphill, 71, told the Guardian on Thursday. “It’s an insult to the Capitol police officers and to the rule of law and to the nation. It contributes to the propaganda that it was a peaceful protest, that the DoJ is weaponized against them and against Trump.” During the Capitol riot, Hemphill said she was pushed down, trampled on, and had her glasses smashed. She credits the Capitol police for saving her life. ... Hemphill, who has been sober since 1979 and is now a substance abuse counselor, compared her addiction to alcohol to the Maga ideology. She said undergoing therapy shifted her perspective; she now sees herself as a volunteer, not a victim. “This Maga cult and these J6 criminals and all their family are very upset that I am bringing the facts when they say something,” Hemphill said. “It’s just like working with an alcoholic – when you’re in denial, you get real upset.” -

To whom are you referring? Pretty sure that's another fabrication. The pardons are evidence that Trump approves of violence against America--including legislators and law enforcement--in support of his personal interests. Self before country, always. A literal endorsement of political violence. -
Homosexuality has always existed among humans, just as it has in most other coupling species. You can look around at the world and observe that homosexuality is, indeed, quite natural. Like any coupling, it brings benefit to the participants and has no external costs to anyone else--is joyful and harmless. So there's not a single rational reason in the world to believe that it's not "supposed" to be. Happy pride month to all who celebrate. Sorry that they have to put to with irrational hatred from the primitives.

"Take a moment and explain how the request for commentary on a specific video was absurd..."🙄 I showed you exactly why it was absurd. It's a dead issue because it was already a dead issue, and an absurd request. It just took you a half dozen posts to catch on to the fact. -

Jeebus. Because why would I watch a specific (and favorable) video of Kirk? To what end? Do the shitty things he said not exist if they are not in that video? If you don't understand the VERY basic logic of this, again, go watch the Hitler video and cite evidence from that video that he's racist or fascist. -

🤣 I see you've caught on to how utterly absurd your request was. But instead of saying, "Thanks for the lesson," you lash out. Go figure. Teaching is thankless work. -

I swear, you people can't manage even baaaaaasic logic. You think Hitler was racist? Fascist? Really? Challenge: I challenge you to watch this video and cite specific examples that prove Hitler was racist and fascist. Go on. I'll wait. 🙄 -

Did your incessant gooning over Charlie Kirk finally break your brain? You say stupid shit here constantly. Yes, the world would be better off if you didn't say stupid shit--if nobody said stupid shit. But I don't think that someone killing you is the best way to rid the world of stupid shit. Can you think of any alternatives? Are you so farking simple that it's a binary proposition for you? That ugly rhetoric and political wrongness can only be ended by killing? No, nobody is that dumb. But you are DEFINITELY that dishonest, as you keep doubling/tripling/quadrupling down on right here. -

Night is day. Black is white. Up is down. If you want to have a conversation with someone, try not lying about what they say. Your dishonesty is your choice. -

That means exactly what it says. I also explicitly said that he/they shouldn't be harmed just for being a-holes. That is, quite literally, the opposite of "he had it coming." You're simply lying. Full stop. You're doing it again. Trying to use the potential for violence as a shield against criticism. It roughly translates to "No one would resort to violence if they didn't know all the bad stuff we intend to do to them." A really trite argument. Let me be clear: freedom of speech is a two way street. A-holes are allowed to say shitty things. Other people are free to criticize and contextualize those things. I don't think you're playing dumb anymore. Scapegoating immigrants, masked thugs terrorizing neighborhoods and murdering people in the streets, concentration camps, sham prosecutions of political enemies, militarization of domestic law enforcement, illegal extrajudicial murder of accused criminals, corrupt self-dealing, using the force of government to target individuals, businesses and universities for political reasons, politicizing the civil service--LITERALLY attempting a coup. You know, the small stuff. All he did was talk... about replacement theory, Christian nationalism, "stop the steal," denigration of DEI, CRT, affirmative action, civil rights and basically all things related to racial justice. He was the more palatable fig leaf on a very ugly MAGA movement. You are welcome to agree with his ugly rhetoric, but let's not pretend that he was a bridge builder. The man on a mission to destroy the legacy of MLK Jr. was not a good person. "Whaaaaaaa. People pointed out the terrible things we're doing to other people and the victims got angry and lashed out." I'm not sorry in the least--not one iota--for calling out bad behavior. Your phony victim narrative has no power here. -

Do we really need to do this all over again? The last Charlie Kirk thread wasn't enough? -

A. You are a liar. I said no such thing. B. Your argument is that we shouldn't call a spade a spade because occasionally someone commits violence against spades. I've got a better idea. If people don't want to be described as fascists, don't say and do the things that categorically align to fascism. 💡 If you don't like being called out for what you're doing, stop doing it. Kirk was not a full blown fascist, but there was a huge overlap in that Venn diagram and he clearly want above supporting fascism to achieve his ends. But that's not actually what motivated his shooter. Kirk was a hateful f*cker punching down at already marginalized people and the shooter reacted to that. -
