The Folly of Ignoring Climate Change

They do. But if their products violate international patents, there are mechanisms in the WTO to prevent their export. -

Great post, but you give WCM far too much credit when you claim he learned ANYTHING in physics and chemistry classes. -

Funny that you believe ^this is not JUST YOUR BULLSHIT. "Actual scientists" say a lot of different things, but YOUR LIST of DENIERS is VERY SHORT. And probably not even CLIMATE SCIENTISTS Someone is paying a LOT to promote that pipeline. Not producing the dirtiest oil does not let production "atrophy." Thanks for your stupid and IGNORANT OPINION. NOT. Far from it. Just a BIG MOUTH. You're just SCARED. Selling to China, of course. You believing tech progress is stupid just means that you're stupid. Or working in the industry and using it to pad your pocket. -

Funding research by the Federal government is NOT "bought and sold" just cause you CLAIM that. Plenty of foreign fossil fuel bucks ALSO lobby for fossil fuels HERE. Like Canada wants a pipeline to ship dirty tar sands to Texas for refining. I'm sure you're an expert on what leftists "think." NOT. Whose blood was used to produce SA oil? I understand that you've FAILED to answer an inconvenient question. Proly cause you're SCARED. You believe Canada's government can and should stop that? AFAIC, they can leave it in the ground. There is nothing wrong with a government promoting tech advancement instead of permitting externalized costs of POLLUTION. -

Someone who can read and understand the science published by the CONSENSUS. So do fossil fuel industry dollars. I'm sure many of those on your list get those. Tar sands oil from Canada is especially bad for the environment due to the amount of energy it takes to refine it. Do you really not understand that different oil has very different problems? How do you propose to get China to be responsible producers of power? -

You do know that there are mechanisms in the WTO that can block sales of patent infringing products, don't you? Part II — Standards concerning the availability, scope and use of Intellectual Property Rights -

That's a really SHORT list compared to ALL THE REST who form the CONSENSUS. -

We STILL have more fossil fuels that China or Russia. It would be advantageous to keep it for necessities instead of using it for things that can use renewables. -

Until you understand the fundamentals of the climate science, your comments have only the credibility of IGNORANCE. -

Your hyperbolic mocking ONLY further destroys your credibility. "The world" will never "end" from climate change and no scientist says it will. It COULD easily become uninhabitable for the MAJORITY of the population as water dries up and crops fail on a massive scale. Do you understand what will happen if the ocean current conveyor belt shuts down? -

Here is a legitimate quote from your last cite: Do you UNDERSTAND WHY that DIDN'T happen? ㊙️ MAN dealt with that problem and CUT the particulate pollution DRAMATICALLY. NOW we have to FIX the CO2 pollution. -

That you post ^this screed, which contains so many fallacies with a straight face, just destroys YOUR credibility. Maybe you should try listening to actual climate scientists who UNDERSTAND the fundamentals of GHG induced climate change and MAYBE you will not look so foolish. -
After the "Russia if you're listening" remark, Trump confirmed to Katy Tur that he really wanted to see Hillary's emails. What Trump said at his July 2016 press conference in Doral about Russia Trump wasn't joking. No one laughed, not even Trump. Later that day, Russian agents began trying to hack Hillary's email server. Russians tried to hack Clinton server on day Trump urged email search Do you understand now? You've been conned; and you keep repeating that same BS.
